Royal Rumble match peaked early here

Decent Rumble but intriguing Final 4 of Brock and Batista & then Taker and Kane.

The Rumble Match was OK, not that great, but not terrible also. The Rumble Show was something.. Scott Steiner i thought at the Time ok, another WCW star that they ruined, and he never recovered from this, a real shame after that great comeback in the Garden. Praise God as you would say!! The Benoit/Angle Match was one of my Favourite Wrestling Matches in RR History.Two of the biggest stars of the Toothless Agression Era,i was applauding both at the end,and i remember that benoit got a standing ovation after it. I watched it again a few years back, it was sooo damn Hard to watch.

I thought it was pretty awful until the WWE championship match. Angle/ Benoit and the Royal Rumble Match stopped it from being a terrible show. Ended on a high.

I'll tell you why HHH vs Steiner was bad. Steiner injuries caught up to him, he was 40 and still on the roids, Steiner was washed up in the ring it wasn't HHH's fault on this 1. Steiner in WWE 2003 had no good matches.

There was no Women's title match on the PPV. Huh, strange.

Yeah it was strange, the 2004 Royal Rumble had no Women's Title Match either.

The only great reason to watch this show is for Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit, my pick for MATCH OF THE YEAR!!! Although Angle vs. Lesnar at 'Mania 19 was another strong candidate. I actually forget the M.O.T.Y. for 2003.....
