All of Queen Elizabeth II’s brooches featured here are spectacular and so exquisite in their own right! My two favorites are Grima’s carved ruby with diamonds on yellow gold, and the flower basket. Both treasured gifts from one, her beloved Prince; the other from her parents on the occasion of the birth of her eldest child and heir 🥰. Thank you, a lovely video to watch over Christmas. The Late Queen Elizabeth II was seen wearing the flower basket brooch as a child. Herself and Princess Margaret were seen getting out of a car, Waterloo Station 1939 I believe and there she is wearing the flower basket brooch or one that is very similar.

Ironically the holidays are about the only time I wear a brooch. The Queen was always dressed to lovely and classically.

My top favourite brooch is the basket of flowers one. For some reason I believed it had been designed and given by Prince Philip but this video informed me about who actually offered it to the late Queen.

I wear brooches almost every day... I bought them on Temu for 3 or 4 dollars and have about 30 or 40 of them. They don't actually go with my work shirts, but they make me feel dressed up without being fussy. It takes like 3 seconds to put them on - I can put it on faster than earrings...

How lovely to look back. I enjoy the narration, whether its AI or a real person the elocution is stellar. It saddens me that Charles doesnt quite...get it. He plans to televise the Christmas Speech from an ecumenical center, a slap at the birth of The Christ Child, instead of a room in a palace donned with Royal Christmas Beauty. I believe William plans to increase the loss of all the splendor that makes it gloriously Royal.....what a shame.

I must have 50 or 60 brooches and I never wear them. I have 10 family heirlooms. Never wear them.
