Thank you , very helpful and clear video. Can I just ask - it looks like you end up with braches crossing each other diagonally - will this not be a problem as they rub and damage each other?

We have two rambling roses growing up a conifer and a holm oak. The tops of them are probably around 10m above ground. At the moment I just cut off the lower stem where they overhang grass. Is there anything else I should do?
