For Natalia Osipova to attempt Kitri at 37years of age…she’s returning to the role of Kitri just in time. Her soaring, floating , Michael Jordan-like, Plisetskaya-grand jeté, that began her Act I entrance, made her THE Kitri of her generation. I wish for her the same spectacular success in this somewhat unfamiliar (to her), version of Don Q. May she once again sail high, high, high above the stage.

At 37 she's still young and in her prime, look at Marianela - she's 41, Sarah Lamb is 43, etc. Natalia is still absolutely stunning as a dancer, with the same fire and excitement that she had in her early career.

@JeteLife
@JeteLife Ай бұрын
The pianist has to know what the dancers are doing at each part of the music. So for example, if the teacher says to do the lift, the pianist knows what music to play for the lift. Its a lot of work for the pianist because they have to not only know the music but also know what the dancers are doing and watch them constantly as they are playing.
