Royalton, Grenada, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort Review (December 2022)

A review of my recent for night stay (22/12/2022 - 26/12/2022) at this resort having also stayed at the locations in Antigua and St Lucia in recent years.
I understand that the Grenadian location used to be called The Rex Hotel which was refurbished when the Royalton took over in 2020.
Although the hotel looks good on the surface, some improvements need to be applied such as:
Installing elevator points;
Covering areas which are exposed to rain to avoid a slip and fall incident or lawsuit and;
A wider variety of fruit options.
There was a lack of Christmas Day activities for adults during the day as their other two aforementioned locations had beach parties amongst other social and fun activities when I visited.

We looking at staying here, my husband is worried that there will be a mosquito problem with there being standing water there the little body of water there. We love a good beach, it looks lovely, would you recommend?

Thanks for your query. I don't recall having any mosquito problems at this site but any hot country will have those types of insects! The airport is just next door to the resort so if you have light luggage, you can just walk it to Royalton. They also have a mixture of restaurants. However, this is the fourth Royalton I've stayed at in the Caribbean and it is my least favourite (to date) but your experience could be different to mine.

How was the beach? Any seaweed

From what I can remember, it was okay but the sea was a little rough during my short stay so I didn't spend that much time on the beach. I'm more into scenery and historical sites.

Initially, I booked a "Luxury Room" with some type of garden view, (the back of the hotel!) but I wasn't happy with the same. The area around the bathroom sink had a lot of stains, there were a few other issues in the room and I wasn't happy with the view so after my first night, I complained and they moved me to another room: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3Ldq35vasafg8U And this was the view from the room: kzbin.infowyc3eslxWO8?feature=share I can't remember the block number where I was located.
