Greetings Sis'Velile. Your channel has been so insightful and I'm sure I speak for many when I say it has inspired us to go back to our home villages and build there. That being said, there is always room for improvement. I suggest in future that you interview people from the villages that you are visiting so that they can give context of their villages, how development came about and if the leadership of the village has any plans for development. I think this will add more value and further give us a people from various villages how we can go about developing our villages. Local economic development (especially rural development) is the next big thing and as such it will be nice if you dig deeper into the history and future of the villages you are visiting so that we can also impart the knowledge you are giving us through this channel. Stay blessed.

Most of our rural areas are sitting on tribal land which is governed by tribal authority (chiefs and kings). Is it possible for a person who grew up in the townships or cities to get a land to build in the rural areas, or you must be someone who grew up or have a family there?
@mubveleli72043 жыл бұрын
You can get it.....it might not be as easy as somebody who grew up around that area
@VelileLifestyleDecorTV3 жыл бұрын
I always say if you are a South African and you grew up in the township because your parents migrated to the city for work, there is a great chance that you have ancestral lineage to a village in the rural areas. While that said, also as a South African you can get land in a rural village you choose to live. All you need to do is to find contacts of the chief in that village and go and state your interest in joining the community. Tribal land is not for sale to South Africans but you do pay an amount to the chief and also offer something like food to the villagers in your community in a ceremony when they welcome you. Go for it and start your research no. All the best. 🙏🏾❤️
