This is probably a great kit for someone with a short attention span. Pour some fruit loops, jump on trampoline, pour some fruit loops, eat lunch, pour some fruit loops, carve a pumpkin. If you had dye left over from another kit, you could make other colors of fruit loops and really fill the bowl with them. And of course, you can always pour out the melted wax, so the candle won't put itself out.

I have this mold and by far the easiest way to punch the centers out of the middle is to take the end of a thin craft paint brush and just punch it through the hole. It's no time and you can get them all done within a minute this way

Seems really good value for the experience and the mold. You could use it to do cereal bits for inside of clear soaps or resin craft, after you've made the cool candle. Could you also maybe do a layer or clear with cereal bits at the bottom and then the top could be a solid colour with scent and then you could burn the candle for longer with the bits in? If that made sense. In a tall clear candle container?

Thank you! It's so refreshing to see a KZbinr reviewing a cheap product with realistic expectations. It really does annoy me more than it should when people are all "This product is garbage" because they're comparing a product less than $20 to one that costs $80+. Most of the time (with a few exceptions) something that's intended for novelty, beginner-friendly, and affordable enjoyment is not going to be near as good as super-expensive, professional-grade, versions. It's like when art YTers compare washable, $0.50 art supplies like Crayola paint & markers to professional-grade $80+ and then hate on the kid's supplies like, "Haha cheap is bad, look at these fancy supplies I can afford!" but what they always leave out is the clean up. You spend MAYBE 5 minutes wiping off the washable version, but scrubbing the other stuff for hours & still having a permanent stain. Your kid gets a little washable paint on the table, nothing a little water and perhaps a tiny bit of soap can't fix, but you get a speck of some of the super pigmented, professional oil/acrylic paints on that same table & it's forever stained.
