Yes exactly, the queen has no political powers whereas the president does. Other than both are heads of state there is nothing else except for maybe having something in common with a particular president like Ronald Regan both being advent horse riders.

This video was silly! It didn't discuss the relationships of the Queen with these Presidents with any detail. All it seemed to discuss was civil rights and black history with a dabble of the Queen interspersed in between.

This is the reason why Queen Elizabeth II and LBJ never met HAS been confirmed: He was sick with the flu and bronchitis and hospitalized for 3 1/2 days when Winston Churchill died and was unable to lead the U.S. delegation to the state funeral in London (LBJ, De Gaulle, and Kosygin were the only leaders allowed to lead or send delegations of three representatives as their respective countries, U.S., France, and the Soviet Union, were Britain's chief wartime allies). He very, very much wanted to lead the U.S. delegation to the funeral that he asked that no final word be made until the doctors could act, but he secured an arrangement from the Queen to be received in private at Buckingham Palace after the funeral. But when the doctors acted, they took the trip away. The funeral delegation showed how rocky the relationship between the U.S. and U.K. were between LBJ and Harold Wilson. Secretary of State Dean Rusk led the delegation, rather than the new vice president Hubert Humphrey. This perceived slight generated much criticism against the president, both in the U.K. and in the U.S. Johnson told reporters that not sending Humphrey as head of the delegation was a "mistake."

Why wasn't something done about Sadiq Khan. London was never the same after him. People being murdered etc. I know she wasn't supposed to interfere with the government, but this was a special case, her people were suffering and I'm sure her son Charles won't do anything. Very interesting documentary, though I forgot I was watching a documentary about the Presidents AND the Queen until I saw Westminster Abbey during the Obama section. As a Brit, very interesting to learn in-depth in regards to the Presidents though I feel the main purpose of the documentary was not fulfilled ie Elizabeth II and United Kingdom... For example the glaring omission of Trump's controversial state visit to UK...

I love this channel, I find it highly informative as well as entertaining. Yet many can’t seem to show basic respect all the way around. Not the slightest bit equally. Professional U.S. reporters wouldn’t dare be snarky, singling out one Royal. Not ever, but especially not with the motive of pushing a universal hate encouraged narrative. 😢Regardless of ones PERSONAL opinion - big emphasis on personal. Truthfully I hoped the U.K’s journalism had more class, and -less- zero American political influence 1. when reporting 2. when presenting the two countries history.
