My precious beautiful Mother died two days ok. She was 80 years old. After suffering for years in a frail wounded body she is finally set free from years of pain. I miss her so much! I play this song over and over again and it reminds me of the very best of my beautiful precious Mother. The beautiful part of her that I will NEVER hear or see again. Thank you

Dear Margaret, I know your pain. I lost my precious Mother on 2 January last year after years of suffering from Alzheimers. Your precious Mother is now with her Creator and she is beautiful and in no more pain. When you meet again it will be a wonderful reunion, beyond what you can imagine. May the Lord be your strength. This is by far my favorite song and as I was reading the comments there were many people who think it's about the Lord. This song is actually a story about the pain and loss that comes with love. It is a lyrical masterpiece and without one word I felt the power of this song!!! I love listening to so many talented artists who put their own stamp on it and you guys did not disappoint.
