Alan Leslie this might sound strange to you, but I just woke up and before I went to sleep I was listening to some relaxing music that plays 24 hours on the Internet. In the dream I was looking for GOD, and I was seeing all of these false religions, and this little girl and little kitten. She had a hallmark card that said, Jesus love's you and to stop smoking. I woke up crying, but I never woke up crying before. I seen your comment that's strange.

You'd be shocked perhaps to know that Hallelujah,as written by Leonard Cohen,has absolutely nothing to do with god,Jesus,the bible,religion,etc. If anything,it's an antithesis on the subject. I love how when some people hear an exquisite melody,it's almost always praise God. Id like to think this isn't part of the hysterical illness of the religious hypocrites of today. It's the sound of beauty.

This is SO beautiful! With the times and the ways we are living right now, we ALL need to just take a minute for things like this and just let you carry us away. We all need to "re-set" now and then, be kind to one another, and wake up every new day exclaiming, "hallelujah, thank you, and Amen!". When I see all of the dislikes, it is quite heartbreaking. But, I realize that there are people walking among us who are SO unhappy with themselves and their own lives, that they cannot even escape themselves, or find joy in anything. Thank you so very much for raising us up! God bless all who read this...

This is indeed beautiful. The Savior the song speaks of is even more beautiful than any word or sound could ever convey. Maranatha

My precious beautiful Mother died two days ok. She was 80 years old. After suffering for years in a frail wounded body she is finally set free from years of pain. I miss her so much! I play this song over and over again and it reminds me of the very best of my beautiful precious Mother. The beautiful part of her that I will NEVER hear or see again. Thank you

Dear Margaret, I know your pain. I lost my precious Mother on 2 January last year after years of suffering from Alzheimers. Your precious Mother is now with her Creator and she is beautiful and in no more pain. When you meet again it will be a wonderful reunion, beyond what you can imagine. May the Lord be your strength. He has been mine. God bless you.

This is by far my favorite song and as I was reading the comments there were many people who think it's about the Lord. This song is actually a story about the pain and loss that comes with love. It is a lyrical masterpiece and without one word I felt the power of this song!!! I love listening to so many talented artists who put their own stamp on it and you guys did not disappoint. In fact you were remarkable!
@circlestrafe83555 жыл бұрын
Great. Here I thought music was the universal language and now apparently it means something specific. It can be about whatever anyone wants it to be about. Though it appears you MUST like this version because its the best and is played on a violin.

There are songs that are just instrumental, and touch the heart more so than with the lyrics. Maybe cause I know the words already. The instruments make you close your eyes and go to the beautiful place. Sometimes in life we need that. Thank You!

Of one of 24 million viewers, I say “Bravo!” How very moving! Such talent! Thanks for sharing that talent with the World. I’m sure Leonard Cohen would be very proud.
@robthorburn36263 жыл бұрын
???!!! Proud?! Have any of you 24 million listened, stopped to hear the words of the song? I'm sure L. Cohen would be sincerely sardonically amused by the treacly passionless insipidity of this instrumental video, white grand piano and mansion and all, and enjoy with a wry smile whatever copyright royalties the 24m of us brought him, if he was alive to appreciate them. It's like The Great Gatsby turned into a Mills & Boon, ha, ha!
