Cristobal Ramirez-Michaud then the "program directors " shouldn't asking people they don't even play up their... it to me doesn't help the artists .... check it Royce gets interviewed, people are intrigued but he leaves but the listeners don't hear his music at all.... then quickly forget him when somebody like 69 comes up and gets his music blasted, I'm a air personality myself on FM and I control my own playlist, as much as they are doing good in the ratings , they should play some Royce ....

Chris Green they interview a whole bunch of people that don’t even make music. They interview Royce, who makes super lyrical hip hop and it’s a problem because he’s not in the rotation? The interview is a great look for Royce...knock it off
@djchrisg1124yt6 жыл бұрын
Most radio stations interview everyone famous I didn't say it was a problem ,but as a radio station that says they play "hip hop & r&b" Royce can't get no spins from his upcoming album or the Prhyme album ? It could turn on some new fans... Other new rappers that aren't on his level can get rotation but Royce can't ? Same goes for Hot 97, you knock it off.... besides it's my opinion you can agree or not my views stays the same as a hip hop show host i wouldn't even a rapper to come up if i'm not playing his music

I know man , but at this point we must look past "views" as validation of talent because if we give it that title then these mumble rappers are actually talented which we know there not. Its shock value , viral marketing , trolling ( new gen promotion ) and other factors. We know what makes talent and as long as the legends in the game know the real heads are still here that's all that matters. Its like until Em dropped Kamikaze I thought most real hip hop heads were gone but boom it dropped and goes #1 in 70 countries. Are voice is still powerful! And obviously still felt. My thing is if you f with em you damn sure need to make royce s projects do numbers too ! My god this is the man who em has said himself he looks up to lyrically. Salute to 59 aka nickel. "Loyalty to a person doesn't make you 'Industry', it makes you human" - Angela. Best thing said in this interview. Royce is one of the most honest, intelligent and respected rappers in the game. Joe and everybody need to quite acting like just because Royce is friends with major figures like Eminem that his point of view is askew, when he's the most logical person in these conversations.
@cl209996 жыл бұрын
Possibly a top 10 emcee of all time if we're being real and focusing on the technical aspect of rapping. Royce is almost difficult to listen to for casual fans because you have to pay attention or you will be guaranteed to miss something. He's one of the few active rappers that still makes songs where you don't catch every punchline on the first listen because it's that layered and complex.
@bennid19816 жыл бұрын
Royce is technically amazing as a rapper. However for me what he is lacking is a great project. He hasn't got a classic album to his name. This is obviously an opinion so miss me with any negative comments. For me skills wise he is one of the best but in regards to his catalogue there are more less able emcees with better bodies of work and ultimately thats what he will be judged on. If hip hop was a story will he be a character or just a mention in the book. People may state that he doesn't want to be a superstar etc but there are so called non mainstream underground mc's who have great followings, classic albums and have influenced their peers (Mos def, MF Doom to name a few)
@cl209996 жыл бұрын

Wow my guy Royce! Detroit we in here
@313gresianpoker6 жыл бұрын
Before I get started I had to make sure of a couple things first 1. had to be a 100% sure that Royce 5'9" AKA Ryan Daniel Montgomery was truly a Detroiter and how old he was (40). I myself (41) Born Detroit MI, 1975. Hutzel Women's Hospital. 3990 John R St, Detroit, MI 48201. witch to all Detroiters knows is in Cass-Core-Doors and is now called mid town. So I am very qualified to speak on this matter. Now Warning I will try my best to keep my emotions in check as much as I can and not get to emotional so you've been WARNED . This song and video was a real SPIT in the face. just cause of the TITLE there a lot of singers and rapers from Detroit and out of all them no one eles as touch this TITLE CAUSE IT'S DETROIT ROYALTY and knowing that if you did touch it YOU MUST BRING IT SONG VIDEO. Have too cause of just what BOBLO BOAT means to so many DETROITERS. This is the reason why no one as touched it. SO I tell you that the first SPIT in the face is everyone from DETROIT know that you CAN NOT PULL UP ON BOBLO ISLAND. and hands down in my OPINION the best part about it was the BOAT RIDE ( now this could be up for Debate). As you can tell there's more that dislike this BS. This really hurt my hart bad there was no HEART PUT INTO THIS AT ALL on one have even thought about it as a song or a rap cause as a DETROITER WE KNOW IF YOU TOUCH THIS TITLE YOU MUST BRING THE HEAT BREAK THE BANK. this shit looks cheap the song is so weak. He Really fucked up by the TITLE only he could have put any other TITLE and would had been alright but the fact that he choice this TITLE and not bring it is a real spit in the face. HOW COULD HE DO US LIKE THIS. Boblo is ARE shit FOR US BY US real shit and the fact that he knows this is where the SPIT IN THE FACE COMES FROM. Royce you know better or you should I guss you movin across 8mile when you was 10 HAVE A LOT TO DO WITH IT. there's so many thing I can touch on about how wrong this is.

Gerbil Jerome How did he disrupt everyday struggle? They wasn't paying what he wanted so he left. Its business.
@boomflymachine61016 жыл бұрын
No one said he fucked up Everyday struggle he saw the bull coming and continued his own thing.Remember joe came up wit the show.My Original post was about how you suppose to do business leave your emotions out of it because to us all these famous artist seem like friends but play with that money or shine you'll see how close they actually are.Joe want the business right that buddy system works for 5'9 not Joe,Ortiz,and King Crooked.Same with complex they dont wanna pay for the views Ak,Joe and Queen chocolate bring so sleep time for a very long over due show we all was asking for and now barely think about.

Royce album is the best rap album I've heard so far this yea. You can tell this dude has kept working at his craft, just like he said on the album, he doesn't feel like he's in his prime. His lyricism ages like fine wine, it's crazy.
