As promised ! I showed you how to make the pack frame , in this video I show you what I would pack onto the frame and how to assemble it, to make it easy to carry and weatherproof.
This project (and several other of my recent videos) was inspired by the teaching of the late Mors Kochanski - check out the others in the series.
Enjoy

I pack for canoeing or motorcycle, so use several dry bags. I put matches in every one. So far, that’s been a total waste. With any luck, those extra matches will remain a waste. Your bright orange fire kit around your neck is a very good idea. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying

Good job! Thanks you for doing your research on this. I learned from a friend that went to karamat and was taught how to make these. Yours is done correctly, which is awesome because the majority of what you see on KZbin with this pack is very wrong. Good job!

Can't believe you got all that gear in that little pack. When I try it ends up close to 50lbs.

Sawyer great filter, but drop it & the large water bottle & get a GRAYL. Drop the wobbie & get a HELIKON TEC SWAG ROLL, also that pack didn't quite look like the one at the very end appears some extra cordage & realignment was done JMO! All in all well done.......ATB

A Grayl and a swagman roll!....thems for rich folks!!! It was the same setup at the beginning and end of the video, with just two jungle toggle cords set up like a capital A. I'm liking the look of the swagman roll....are they any good?

Would using a 3 x 3m tarp as the outer shell work? Or do you think it'd get damaged? Also, what would you estimate the rough weight of the roycraft frame is by itself?

Good stuff, appreciate it. I've looked through all your videos but I'm not seeing anything about that cutting board/spice kit... where's it hiding?

I like both, the 12 is my favourite. You need to take care mind, as if you snap the blade, you cannot replace them.
