Good choice. That's what I got one week ago. Truly amazing. It has a 30x zoom telescopic lens. I took a picture of the moon 2 nights ago and it looks like I took it from a plane. Totally blew me away. A friend of mine tried to replicate it with his iPhone 12 pro Max without success!

I recently have this phone at July and it was outstandingly good it was way better than my tab a6 (2016 7.0 inch varient) the hertz is buttery smooth and other apps performances was super snappy And the AMOLED display was beautiful and show lots of viebrent colors! But the battery is pretty mediocre and has sorta a overheating problem whenever I'm out of my cold environment which is my house. But overall it's a great phone! I definitely recommend this phone for people who wants a not too expensive flagship!(Btw this is a simpler way of me talking about the phone there's a lot I haven't told you yet)

I just ordered this phone and I think Samsung made all of the right moves with the cost savings. Plastic back, who cares it goes in a case and it's lighter than glass. 1080p 120z, who needs 1440p at 60hz I rather have the smooth refresh. SD card port, I miss this but at least the base phone is a large 128gb so it holds a lot for the average user. But they packed it with a great processor, ram, OS, camera, etc. It's a beautiful phone and you cannot go wrong unless you're an extremely heavy phone user and desire more.. and if so get the ultra.

I appreciate the kind words. As far as the videos go I'm currently using a Sony a6400 for my camera. I'm only recording in 4k now and then uploading it in 4k so if someone wants to enjoy it on a 4K screen then they can and it looks even better. but of course they can watch it in 1080 as well. I got real lucky on mine because I bought mine used. I had the Sony a6100 and also I've had the Canon M50 but I sold the M50 to buy the a6100 and then eventually sold the a6100 to buy the a6400 so that way I literally did not lose any money and actually profited from it

I also traded in my pixel 4 xl. I got it today as well. I got the 128 GB version and that should be enough! I barely used 50gb on my pixel. And I took advantage of the 100$ credit and bought the leather case off samsung and the heavy duty case for when I need it. So far I"m loving it! Love the fingerprint sensor much quicker than the face recognition pixel had which sucked because i am always wearing a mask! i got the phantom gray as well. I think the speakers and camera is the only thing lacking on s21. Pixel 4 xl speakers i think sounded better. and the low light is much better on pixel 4 xl camera software

I have the Phantom White, and I gotta say it's so obvious it's plastic compared to glass-backed phones. It's inexcusable of Samsung to cheapen what is supposed to be its premium range, it's compact flagship. It both looks and feels worse. The S20 that I'm trading in feels considerably more premium.

Do you use a case on your phone or actually go case less? Yes, I do wish the phone had a glass back but I would rather have a cheaper S21 and deal with the "short comings." Especially since most people put a case on their phone. But I might be in the minority and like the feel of the back haha.

Text doesn't seem sharp, and depending on the background color that text is on it can appear to have a slight halo or aura around the edges of the letters (white text on a gray background is the worse). Straight lines seem a little jagged as well in certains conditions. I do tend to hold my phone fairly close to me face though. Around 30cm (about 12 inches). That doesn't seem insanly close though. I guess I was also use to the insanly high 577ppi of the galaxy S7.

I would agree. The Ultra is the obvious big boy flagship. But for the masses, the Ultra is just to expensive and way to big. I use to only get bigger phones and just started getting tired of not being able to handle it with one hand easily. I think the S21 is a perfect blend of still feeling premium but not breaking the bank! As many QHD screens that I've had, I've never really truly been able to tell a true difference with the eyeball test.

@@ridzuanrush if you have been using big phones like 6.5' screens then the plus is your choice. But if not, the s21 is just as good as the plus. The battery and the screen is the main difference, but looking at some reviews the s21 last a day with moderate to heavy usage too. So it's as good as the plus. Currently using the s21plus because the s21 was not available when I ordered mine here in my country. Would have gotten it and saved some money. But, I am happy with the plus. The screen and the battery is so good and not as heavy & thicc as the Ultra. Perfect phone for me.

Nah, I never use SD Card and i think it should not exist anymore on mobiles, Storages got bigger and bigger, some people also use Cloud storage, and transfering large files between mobile and other devices is fast and easy. Most people may use cheap SD cards which impacts the phone's performance. And i Hope they don't use this S21 design in their mid ranged phones, they always did that and its not cool, because a flagsip holder can't appreciate their phones cool design.

uhm what? one of the best advantages of getting a samsung phones is that it's android, and they heavily customize it anyway (one UI), so i don't know why they would want to use a new OS, also apple only dominates the US market.

No, it's Phantom Gray. The regular S21 and S21 Plus have the Phantom Gray. The S21 Ultra comes in the Phantom Black. I wiiiiiish it was black!

I didn't have the S21 for a full day and I returned it back to the store 6 hours later. I hate everything and I mean everything with S21 series especially with the base model S21. Samsung ruined everything with this phone. I mean everything they changed and removed with this phone I don't like nothing about the S21. I'll stick with my Samsung S10 as I still prefer that older one over this S21. I would have gladly paid $200 more if they added everything they removed back like the glass back (want my device to feel on par with iPhone glass and metal built quality) not cheap as plastic built quality (Apple would get a lot of hate if they made their top of the line iPhones out of plastic) , MST for Samsung Pay (The technology works in less locations now another downgrade), slightly cured display (I actually found curved screens useful unlike most people, if you place your device flat on a table the side of the phone can illuminate for notifications) , Mirco SD card slot (needed it for other cameras and drone footage to quickly transfer that data back and forth), headphone jack, WQHD 1440p Display (Why lower the resolution of the display older model Galaxys look better than this newest model), worst battery life, not as good sounding speakers than the S10. Mostly downgrades with very few upgrades. $799.99 is still to high for this phone with all them downgrade I wouldn't buy it brand new for $200. I find absolutely no value in this S21 Samsung you all can keep that piece of junk this year.

The purpose of taking 8k photos and videos today is so that 5-10 years from now your photos and videos don't like like crap. Just imagine forgoing a 720 photo or video in 2011 and today a cherished moment is viewed in 480p. I want my photos and videos to look as good 10 years from now as they look today.
