Thanks! I got a new one at my local auto parts store and did the job in about 15 minutes! If you're old with arthritic shoulders, getting underneath to see what you are doing was the hardest part. Taking the glove box out made it easier to see some of the screws "through" where the glove box would have been. With the glove box out, I went and changed out the cabin air filter at the same time. I'd rather do stuff myself and the video showed me how easy it would be. Thanks again!

Excellent DIY repair!! Saved me time and lots of money. Toyota wanted to charge me $75 p/hr (total 4 hours) plus blower motor (over $200). Muchas gracias, Roy!! You’re a lifesaver!!

Great Video! Thankfully all mine was, was the power source came lose but I did not know where to even find the fan.. Figured it was in the dash somewhere. Nice to see it was easy to access and once I locked the cable back in place it works fine. Just in time for this crazy heat! Thanks for the video!

Mine was noisy so I removed mine and managed to disassemble it to relubricate the bushings. There is a circular clip on the shaft that pried off gently with a small flat screwdriver. I lubed bushing at each end with oil initially, that didn't last long. Silicon brake lube grease worked much better, kept it running quietly for another 3 yrs.
