@@Prxv-do6lm your user name screams bot but I will oblige you for the moment. I think you’re wrong. While his popularity was suppressed his music did not drop off. “Say Less” in my opinion is his best album. After Jealousy I think “Snow White” is his best song. Maybe you just stopped paying attention.
@Prxv-do6lm2 жыл бұрын
@@Free_switz i mean we are all entitled to our own opinion but if you feel say less is a better project all around over waking at dawn idk what to tell you. All it had was a longer track run. It was very commercial in my opinion. It had some good songs like “b town, Medusa, little bit of lovin”. Snow White was a good song. But what else after that. The dem times ep was lackluster.

The song and video are so beautiful. The first shot is tender intimacy with Woods as he gets into the lyrics while smoking, thinking of the girl he's singing about. The matte grey of the smoke and metallic glint of his nose ring add contrast to the close-up of his face. The shot of him dancing on the rooftop is honestly iconic. I love it so much. The long-lasting shots of the video are not at all boring, in fact, the length is intriguing, as well as the angles. The shot where he appears to be in a car lets me know that this girl he knew is still on his mind, even when he's with his friends driving somewhere. His motioning shadow on the sidewalk brings to mind a lonely person, speaking to no one apparent except the wan moon. Toward the end when his voice cracks into an emotional growl while singing, then his face is slowly consumed more and more by shadow, you realise despite being a successful singer with OVO he is still prone to human feelings and vulnerability. He doesn't want this girl to be jealous of him and his career and his new girl, who treats him right.

The artistic direction of this video was intentional. It's raw, authentic and untouched. It's a strategic move. + it was directed by Jim Joe. Its definitely an unconventional approach to filming a music video, but it is the direction in which the culture is heading in. Less flash, more raw artistry.

If you're a videographer you can easily tell that it wasn't shot on a "cheap" camera and that the degradation of the quality is on purpose. 1. The intro starts out very clean before slowly fading in the noise, hence why some parts of the video are noiser than others. 2 Only few camera has this great ISO and dynamic range to record the parts where he stands on the ladder without any external light. 3. The final part of the video was definitely recorded at 60fps or higher at 1080p, only very expensive cameras do that. 4 the obvious lack of external light and location are decisions that the videographer makes not just randomness. Thus by the locations, time of the day, and lack of external lights, which are all decisions that the videographer makes, this video is exactly what the director intended to be. Now weather you like the style or not is for debate

+Eynoux Adjoumani (MaadeInAfricaa) You clearly know your shit!...with that being said, you got any suggestions on decent SLR cameras for first time users?
@EynouxLaStar9 жыл бұрын
+Salvatore Anzalone depends on your price range, but for an all purpose camera (photo and video) I usually recommend the Canon Rebel line. The T5i is a nice option at around 500 used or the T3i for about 300 used

Eynoux Adjoumani I've read only good reviews about the Cannon Rebels, thank you for your input brother.

+Eynoux Adjoumani (MaadeInAfricaa) I've pretty much rounded my options to a Cannon Rebel T5i or the Nikon D3300, in your opinion which one do u think is a better camera in terms of performance? or are they more or less the same. I appreciate any input

+Salvatore Anzalone I recommend T5i. Better video features, better color reproduction, cheaper lenses. (I have owned a D3100 and D7000 in the past)
