The thing about this game is it makes Link just a true hero not because he is a chosen one but it just being in his nature as a person. In this game it is nothing about destiny or deities or any of that. He left destiny and being the chosen hero behind him when he put the Master Sword to rest and left Hyrule. Him doing good deeds in this game was just Link as a person doing the right thing from the kindness of his heart. He saw this world. He saw it's people and their cries for help and he chose to save them on his own free will. That says a lot.

You are totally right. Although we perceive who Oot Link is through ourselves, you still get small gist of his actual personality. He was born for 1 sole goal. And with that goal accomplished, his title, destiny and his efforts were thrown away, almost as if the goddesses were done with Link and decide to just leave him to waste away. But This Link does not mind and abides to this, because of his Hornourable Personality. He sacrifices his own happiness for other's happiness. He can only see the joy from afar, never experiencing it himself. I wouldn't care about this Link if I never played Majoras Mask or Twilight Princess, when he becomes The Hero's Shade. it makes you wonder whatever happened to him when he lived out his life. But in the end, he is nothing but a tragic hero, waiting for the next hero to do his work. Although a tragic end for him, I love how Nintendo made his fate the most mysterious one out of all the Links (well at least in my opinion), almost as if they want us to come up with our own reasons for his fate. Although hyrule historia says that he's regretful that he was never acknowledged as a hero I like to believe he actually was but died soon after he learnt his skills and was unable to pass them on to his descendants. This is why out of all the Links, Oot/Mm Link is my most favourite, because there is more to his era than what Nintendo can tell us and only we can imagine what he could have done in his future. I do hope breath of the wild will make me love that link more though!
@manuelrc32678 жыл бұрын
I agree with you, although I am hopeful that the link in BOTW is this Link, resurrected, saved and protected until he is needed again in order to make the difference. Having the temple of time, and seeing that the BOTW Link is capable of fighting from the moment he exits the cave makes me think that this is a previous link.

It did. As they held each other, accepting come what may... the giants came. They briefly stopped the moon, then it faltered, but they struggled on. It seemed it was for naught. But then, the false moon disappeared into light. The giants stood strong. The threat disappeared, and the giants turned to go back to where they resided. And then the two of them had a wedding, too.

Get letter for Kafei 6. Save cows 7. Save great bay 8. Save stone tower 9. Talk to Kafei 10. Protect Cremia and the milk 11. Finish the rest of the kafei quest. Doing the boss rematches with the schedule system means you can get world peace for all the major parts of termina.

@deffdefying48038 жыл бұрын
Battlesny You just added to my point.
@thefalselemon5797 жыл бұрын
Yes but that's what makes this game so deep. The Song of Healing represents the acceptance of the difficult things that have happened in our lives, the embracing of loss. What really hits home is that the name is Healing, meaning that we can only heal from our wounds, not erase them entirely.
@PhazonSpear5 жыл бұрын
What's happening with the Song of Healing in these cases is that these people are souls that were unable to accept death, because they had a goal to accomplish in life, whether it be to see their father again because of a self-imposed exile (Deku, we can infer that this is the reason why the Deku Scrubs are hyper aggressive in the first cutscene where Link gets cursed, then by providing relief when Link waves farewell to them, being the stand in for said Deku Scrub), save the people of their village from a snowstorm that threatens to kill them all (Goron), or be unable to provide relief to another and save their sons/daughters (Zora). All the times the Song of Healing is required, it's to mend a hurting soul. So in essence, the Song of Healing does what it's advertised to do; provides healing and relief to souls who can't move on. This applies to Pamela and her father too; as we find out that he's been cursed. When her father is Healed; it's the Gibdo Mask that falls away, leaving her father to be with his daughter once more, rather than how it worked in the cutscene with Darmani and Mikau turning into the mask. In this case, it's an exorcism; the Song of Healing is providing relief to a vengeful soul instead of a regret filled soul.

The thumbnail made me think of things in the in habitants of Termina's view,the music sent shivers down my spine (the good kind),and the other stuff in between made me have yet another theory about who or what the Fierce Deity is. The people of Termina are extremely strong,instead of relying on one person to save the day like Hyrulians do,they rely on the elements found within themselves and a strong,unbreakable will and belief. Thank you whoever made the Zelda games for giving us these masterpieces that changed many peoples lives and have underlying theories that teach us the hidden things in life.

This is where I go to when I want to enter a new realm. I especially love how you go from a horrible terror in the first part onto something really soothing, the song of healing, to rebuild everything. Then slowly transitioning into the end credits to bring forth that cheerfulness and happiness. It truly reveals the tone of the game, darkness as well as the hopefulness that everything will be fine. Your music is truly profound and immersive. All the instruments, notes, transitions, and sound effects are absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for sharing this masterpiece with us. P.S. I never thought that. But then, I watched some anime before playing the game (read: pokemon series, and some Dragon Ball Z in its original dub). I just recognized that he was a guy. Because guys are drawn differently, and this translates to 3D models too. As such, I guess, the earlier me just recognized his jaw shape or whatever, and just ignored whatever hairstyle he had. Hey, maybe Yugioh, famous for weird hairstyles, also helped that. I learned to judge people not on hairstyle. Though I do still have a minor bias against the "Karen" style due to how unfortunately accurate that has been... About 2 weeks ago, I was walking my dog. A child, loud and close enough despite current distancing procedures, exclaimed audiably such that I could hear, that I was a girl. I am a male, thin, slightly overweight but not actually very visibly (sub-200 lb by a few tens)... But I have a pony tail. Yep. Long hair. That is all a child took to think I was a girl. Weird, this country is.
