You are doing great work on keeping what maybe the last modeler from Digitech alive.

Thanks for sharing this video Chris, it's certainly very helpful. I'm looking for a softer and fairly transparent low gain overdrive, which model out of these would you recommend to get me there? Best wishes.. 👍
@Tone-QuestАй бұрын
Driven Over, which is based on a Guyatone Overdrive OD-2. The OD-2 is a different flavor of overdrive. The OD-2 is transparent and does not get in the way when playing single notes or chords.

Sir, this was very informative, you did wonderful, thx for the time, sounds great, the ending sounded great , what was your chord progression?
@Tone-Quest4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, much appreciated. I assume you are talking about the progression for the loop. If so, the progression is: E5 | B5 | Cmaj7(no 3rd) | Asus2 E5 = 079900 B5 = X2440X Cmaj7(no 3rd) = X3550X Asus2 = X02200

Hi, I have this unit but haven't used it live yet as I can't seem to adjust the volume on the fly, is this possible, I don't want any surges in noise when changing patches, thanks
@Tone-Quest4 жыл бұрын
I would recommend going through your patches and setting their levels so that they are all close to a similar level and save them. In regards to your question though, the three silver knob at the bottom of the screen on the unit can be use to adjust either the patch level (far left knob) or the Master Volume (far right knob). The middle silver knob doesn't control anything. Hope that helps.

Thanks so much for making this, exactly what I've been looking for! I can't seem to open the backup file that I downloaded though. I can only load individual presets into the Nexus software. When I try to import the entire backup it does not show up in the editor. Anyone have any tips? I'm probably missing something obvious. Thank you!
@michaeloreilly98343 жыл бұрын
Ah-ha, got it! You have to choose restore in the top right corner of the Nexus software and then it will allow you to load the entire backup. Just make sure you've saved all of your own presets using the backup button first because choosing restore will overwrite them.

I own one and i am desperately hoping digitech would do a firmware update especially on looper section; redo/undo and most importantly fade out.

It would be nice to see a firmware update but I have serious doubt they will release anything new for it.

Which would you prefer vs Valeton GP100?
@Tone-Quest4 жыл бұрын
If I had to pick between just those two, probably the Valeton GP100 because it has the feature to load impulse responses. But if I had to pick between the Valeton GP100 and the Nux MG-300, I would pick the Nux MG-300.
@TheJS106Guitar4 жыл бұрын
@Chris Benton I was so interested of MG-300 when it came out, watched every videos on it & i find it sounds a little bit excessive on the mid freq (on all amp models). But the effects (delays, reverbs & mods) sounds way more better then the effects in GP-100.
@Tone-Quest4 жыл бұрын
@@TheJS106Guitar Understood. I like that the GP-100 caters to guitar, bass and acoustic guitar, though some it’s drum patterns are a little weird. The MG-300 has good sounds and it has a feature that make it easy for re-amping, which could be interesting for recording.

Funny. I'm recently received my Valeton gp100 (still valutating it) but I just discovered this "old" digitech multifx, and it intrigues me a lot. No i.r., but three switches for stompbox mode, external control footswitch, great g.u.i... I wonder if, in the mix of a band, plugged directly into a mixer, it can do a good job nowadays...

Can anyone please tell me how to get the patches from the guitarpatches site on to my computer. I have the Nexus set up but cannot find a way of selecting and saving a patch from this site - all advice warmly welcomed - Cheers - Terry W
@Tone-Quest3 жыл бұрын
In a web browser, go to guitarpatches.com/ At the top of the page click on "View effects units". Scroll down to Digitech and click on "RP360 & RP360XP" You should now see patches ordered by most recent date. Find the patch or patches you are interested in and click on it. associated You should now be able to use the Nexus software to import this file into your RP360. You might want to back up your patches first, as this will overwrite them. Hope that helps.

@@charioteer1000 Do you mean when an asterisk shows up at the end of the patch name? If so, that only appears if you made a change to a patch. So this is graphically letting you know you made a change and if you don’t save it when you leave the patch, those changes will be lost.
