Liked the jazz, did not like the electro-swing, and then there was the smooth move into the epic stuff nearer the end. Where do you get your music from? It's better than the usual, and you edit it in well. Looks as though you are using the same foam as I am. I have NO luck with washes - the laws of physics do not seem to operate the same when I use them.
@RPArchiveOfficial

Thank you! I get it from epidemic sound, they have a pretty solid selection. The grey foam is so useful, even if simply because damage is less obvious if it happens. On the washes, are you using the mix I show in the painting stone video? I feel like the amount of flow improver you add makes a big difference to that effect, maybe experiment with small batches on a test piece?

Here is a thought, the way you use details to determine the type of building is also a trick video games use to get more use from their buildings and save time designing each variant. For example, in the Spyro 1 game, when the castle is taken over by the bad guys, instead of redesigning the castle each time it is claimed by a party, the banners around it gets swapped out. For tabletop games, that is a very easy and great way for players and DM to run encounters efficiently and flexibly. The buildings and terrain don't have to be custom made for each unique encounter. As you said, you can save storage space for the key pieces and save time in making terrain that is reusable and flexible. Players should not have to wonder how multiple churches (good, bad or otherwise) are made with the same type of stone, or how the windows are all the same shape no matter where they are. The important thing is the building is there and the terrain is placed down for the players to use and add immersion to the game. It is not just a stone-built structure, it has windows, furniture, banners, and details that act as a frame for players to visualise around.

So initially I was sceptical about this system and subbed anyway to see how it would go. As you’ve shown video after video, this is such a versatile and creative approach we can use for our terrain with even the basic building blocks. As space is at a premium, through your little showcase at the end converted me from a skeptic, to sub, to patreon. Keep up the creativity 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I guess a labor intensive method to do stained windows that are transparent would be these window paints that come in tubes. They come in two variants. More solid ones more dark, non transparent to draw lines and ones that are transparent to fill in the spaces created by the lines. They are meant to create removable window stickers on something like overhead projector sheet or a transparent sleeve for files. One can easily print out a desired motive, put it underneath a transparent foil and than trace the lines with said line making paint and than fill in the rest. The color ranges are somewhat limited but it creates a stained glass window look. They are able to peel off and stick again as they are intended to make custom window decoration but I guess one can glue them to a piece of transparent film with glue that dries transparently to use them in the slot in system... Or one could have a transparent base to slot into place and interchange the motives by simply peeling them off. They can be stored in a plastic sleeve and take up no more space than a thick sheet of cardboard. Can be stored in a folder this way! I guess the stuff can be found as window sticker paint or window cling paint. It's bottles/tubes with a nozzle. Sorry if my explanation is a bit convoluted I'm from Germany and therefore not a native speaker. I've also just researched if this stuff is even a thing outside of Germany lol.

Instead of using black for the font/pool, use Pokorny deep waters color. The black looks okay, but Pokorny paints have an amazing viscosity for terrain painting generally, and that color is amazing for deep water. Keep up the good work. That paint is available on the Dwarven Forge web site for eight dollars, for 2 oz., and is way better than craft paints at a comparable price.

This is an amazing system. Pity I'm after 1/6 scale stuff, not for table top gaming. However, I think it should be possible to scale it up. It sure would be far more useful as you just have to store pieces that go together rather than whole rooms.

Why not texture both sides of the circle cut out wall pieces so you can use them as arches. You could use them to create a tavern like room or a cellar (and the aches help simulate a lower ceiling).
