Well astro bot and Gran turismo is a reason to run this but... GT7 requie internet connection to save and working. So propably you need to emulate server also. GT7 is still very good looking game in og PS4 also and it is cheap so... There is no too many reasons to emulate PS5

​@@Mattscreative The firmware can be downloaded from Darthsternie (at least up to version 8.60, i'm not sure which version is the latest one) PS5 PKGs can also be easily found online, but obviously, it would be much more interesting (and morally correct) for the user to dump the files from their own console, from games they actually own

No it doesn’t just the gpu backend needs to improve its already running games and firmware which is huge and also shaders need to be added and certain functions. Also to mention that since the ps4 and ps5 are 99% the same if you improve one you also improve the other

@@Mattscreative right now shaadps4 is progressing well but after i think 2 years. but like Gta6 next year it will not run on the emulator if it progresses well. i have a ps5 and a pc so i don't have any issues but i am not arguing with your comment

This isn’t about shadps4 at all it doesn’t even fit into my content at all i am more into accuracy and quality vs rushed emulation. Rpcsx all depends on shaders and functions with little kernel work but the dev team makes massive strides daily and gta6 will be on pc anyway so that doesn’t matter or needs to be worried about. Rpcsx will be the better emulator in the long run
