Hi Matt, CachyOS beginner here. I've been commenting on your videos thinking about switching and finally did it. Now I'm a Niri/Waybar/wl-roots enjoyer. My question is about those libs. I can check what every package does etc but what about libs? There are thousands of them and should I even worry or know about them since I'm not a developer. They are kind of black box for me.

Used this for 2 weeks, but had to move back to Windows for work mostly. I’ll admit it was the smoothest and most painless distro I’ve ever tried, and I’ve used Manjaro and Nobara before. A shame that some games that worked fine are now incompatible due to kernel level anticheat (the battlefield games to be more precise). What I don’t understand is EA’s reasoning of pointing at Linux users as potential hackers when there’s barely any people on Linux playing those games.

You search for the keyword "breast" and you're puzzled why you see naked women? Well, don't blame the search result, blame the user who wanted to see these things, right? The point of a search result, searching, finding or any similar action is to provide information as close to what you expected to see when you typed this word. So, the search engine did a good job finding what you were looking for.

I agree that devs seem to be devolving. So many things have such horrible design choices that I don't understand. Just look at MS outlook's new release.. Wtf are they thinking? and In youtube, why can't I mass edit playlists? I have to dig up some obscure extension just to make it function half way reasonable. I help my daughter with her school work on google docs/sheets/etc.. and the amount of things that don't work or that glitch out and display the wrong things.. It's actually embarrassing. Collective human intelligence is definitely regressing over time; it's just a fact.

Why does everyone love Arch so much?... It's crazy how a slightly difficult install and a meme ("I use Arch BTW") --- can bring you such high status, that everyone wants to use it now. lol.. I'm so confused, but it's also hilarious...... This isn't towards you Matt; but just a question I can't seem to answer. I wouldn't mind using Garuda.. but I can't get it to work for my odd ball 1366x768 Plasma screen with weird overscan issues. It works with windows.. and it works with Nobara. But not many other distros.

If you're still saying stuff like "I can get y thing to work with x distro, but not with z distro", you shouldn't assume that everyone wants to use it because of the meme and how slightly difficult it is to install.
