RPG Battle - Team Sonic VS Team Dark | Sprite Animation

I don't know about you, but i'm tired of endless sprite battles on KZbin between Sonic and other characters from his franchise, so i decided to make something unique (no idea if someone already did this or not). I present to you an RPG Battle style animation - team Sonic VS team Dark!
Finally, i finished what i've been making for entire month. I wanted to do something like this several years ago, but never finished anything, so this is the time i did it, at last.
No idea what i'll do next, but i need a bit of break from animations.

I appreciate the wide variety of games that are represented in each character's moveset. Particularly Knuckles' Air Power and Air Shot moves from Sonic Battle, also the Forcejewels from Shuffle. I notice Thief's Eye was named after one of those Forcejewels as well.

I've been learning coding, sprite animation and game mechanics just to make a game like this for the past 6 months, seeing this video on my recommended today motivated me on a whole other level. I hope to one day create something similar to this animation, the attacks fit every character from rouges stun to tails ultimate and the animation was amazing overall. 👏👏

How a casual Boss Encounter normally happens in a Sonic game since we've seen this before in the RPG series with Seelkadoom years prior (which btw took over 10 EP's total just take him down) & pretty obvious Shadow was gonna *jump ahead* in turn order by using Chaos Blast after Omega nearly *Nuked Em* with his Ult & Tails countered with his *harder Ult* in relation, Knux meanwhile was being a *Actual Tank* of the group (since that what he do since his staple standoff in that sonic 2 movie & before his standalone 6pt spoof series came around) & once things got serious? ...of course Sonic would be the last 1 to save the day & win. 😐

Должен отметить, вышло весьма неплохо. Превьюшка довольно скучной показалась, но тут сугубо моё мнение. Оформление "интерфейса" показалось сначала слабым, но потом, когда увидел значки и уведомления касательно наложенных статусов, поменял мнение, это прикольно. Однако, лайфбары смотрелись бы тоже хорошо. Ещё, вопросы к концовке имеются. Не к самому результату, это уже твоё дело, а именно к сцене после хаос бласта. Это же вроде под игру оформлено, нет? Зачем диалоги и какие-то реакции нужны? Ну, опять же, сугубо моё мнение. А теперь по явным плюсам. Анимация движений улучшилась с прошлых анимок, персонально по моим ощущениям. Это здорово. Отдельные атаки тоже зашли. Особенно то, что от некоторых накладываются какие-то статусы вроде кровопотери и стана. И, ура, адекватная тряска :D Имо, то, что было в прошлой боевой анимке, это жесть. Многих движений было не различить. Некоторые нестандартные решения в самой анимации вроде афтер имеджа у Соника и планша от лица Руж тоже порадовали, плюс к качеству. По итогу, реализация вышла крайне любопытной, мне прям зашло. Семь минут пролетели быстро. Полагаю, повторения подобного формата вряд ли будет, учитывая, что ты любишь в эксперименты, однако если всё же решишь сделать что-то ещё в таком виде - был бы всеми руками за :D

Спасибо за приятный отзыв) Не думаю, что уйду от формата, поскольку наплыв анимаций-боёв за последние года увеличился и большинство из них реализованы по одной и той же формуле, поэтому мне интересно продолжать развивать подобный формат. Привычные боевые анимки тоже будут, конечно, но реже.

Не знаю, сам ли он придумал идею анимации или оталкивался от чего-то, но вся анимация мне напомнила CD-I Random RPG Battle с канала Gloin1994. В особенности показ реакций персонажей(После хаос бласта). Так же неожиданных моментов, когда персонаж защищает партнер( Наклз защитил Тейлза, и Соника от Бласта Шэдоу ). Ну и конечно, увороты от последних атак Руж и Омеги от Соника. Это была на самом деле прекрасная анимация, даже не обычно. Надеюсь, такую замечательную, но и чем-то редкую идею не бросит)

@@Nashura-San, на мой взгляд, "придумал идею" в данном контексте будет не очень правильно, поскольку она всё-таки не нова (Соник РПГ возьми тот же), и как говорится "всё уже украдено до нас". Реакции персонажей да, я подрезал у Глойна, но защита партнёра - реально существующая механика в серии игр Final Fantasy, на которую я и опирался в тот момент. Да и уворот тоже в том же Sega Heroes присутствовал.

Друг делал её. Как раз я ее использую для коллаба по Sonic Rpg), но проблема для напарников будет сложновато делать. Короче долго это обсуждать, думаю не буду особо на этом концетрироваться. В ином случае, жду еще битвы с командами) Может удумаешь не только с Соником такое делать.
