Bit of a necro here, but how would you explain just how beautiful the villages are to the other players? Give me some examples, say I'm travelling north through a forest and I'll end up seeing a village, what would I see? :)
@sjonnieplayfull58595 жыл бұрын
@@やまだ剣士-x8d There are some psychological 'tricks' you can use. Get them in a certain mood with key words, and the other words will be accepted in the same mood, even neutral words. Like: The road wound around a corner between the flowering trees and the little village unfolded before our eyes. The morning sun reflected off many small windows, and a fresh spring breeze was blowing over wave after wave of red tilled rooftops. Small white flowers spread their soft smell to add to the peacefullness. Not my best piece, but how did it make you feel? Probably nice, but look again at the words, and say what the village actualy looks like: its small, the houses have small windows and rooftops of red tiles. Thats it, nothing more on the looks of the town itself, and all these details are neutral in themselve. Its the flowering trees, morning sun, spring breeze and white flowers that give it a good feeling, but they have NOTHING to do with the village itself. The trees and flowers are around the village, not inside, and the sun and the wind are, well... just the sun and the wind.. Now lets visit a different village. A flash of lightning gave us our first look on the barren village. Cold between the leafless trees, a piercing chill blowing over the bloodred rooftops, its menacing small windows reflecting the flash of lightning like a hundred predators eyes in the night. A chocking smell hung everywhere, spread by poisonous white flowers… Wait, thats the same village! You are the Dungeon Master, what they see is what you describe. How does poisonous look? What is the color of the wind? When does a window become menacing? When you say so!!! You can use words to take them to a happy place, or a dangerous place, or inbetween, an imposing place. After an intro to get them in the mood, you can describe the facts of the place, and mix in a mood keyword every three or four facts. Dont make it too long, or let something happen inbetween, then some more description, a bit of action, some more facts, a choice to take the left or right road in the town, then some more on what they see. Be ready to skip a part when you are loosing interest. You can see your audience, so you can see how they react. Use the tone and volume of your voice, let your audience know you want to try some fluff telling, and ask for feedback afterwards. Hmz… i did mean to keep it short... was there anything usefull in it?

+Thor Shreddington (Thor45AZ) Hi there! When is this trilogy going to be released! Can you tell us something about this work?
@ThorShreddington9 жыл бұрын
Well, world building takes a LONG time. It can be difficult to create such a deep and detailed world, and then when you get down to writing the story itself, deciding what to explain when and where. Life also gets in the way of writing from time to time, but, I have finished world building for the most part, and I have the first chapter of the first book done. I may decide to change format at some point and just do one book. I guess it depends on where the story takes me. I even have an idea to release each chapter as an audio book on my KZbin channel as I complete them. I think it would help generate an audience for my channel, and my writing. My story takes place in a world called Teravas. It follows the lives of a blacksmith's apprentice and a barmaid as they are forced to leave their home village and travel the world, meeting new friends and trying to prevent a massive catastrophe that could change the face of Teravas as they know it. Subscribe to my channel if you're interested. I post funny stuff I create, gaming vids here and there, and my music which is a mix of genres but mainly metal. I'll probably start posting updates and maybe chapters as I go.

These kind of songs remind me of Rune factory 3 , It was the best game on Nitendo. As i was harvesting vegetables on my farm, one of my rides came and ruined all the vegetables.

Some of these songs are really relaxing and lovely, like Elf village at 14 min, and then there's one's that absolutely do not cut it, like 29-36 min, and merchant's village at 54 min.

Finally i found it... I was watching #viva la Dirt videos And i really have funn watching those guys and their videos and posts... And i liked the background music of old town and villages ... So i kept on writing to them on their posts in comment section to tell me how to get this background music and download it.. but they never answered my comments... So i had an idea.. to write on you tube ( Rpg background music )... So WALLA i found it.... And i feel so happy... cause i do my job and i put these music on. In my phone And continue my work.....
