A Piezo disk was epoxyed to the bottom of the enclosure. The Piezo trigger circuit schematic is in my knock sensor video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIuqhq2hYqeMnbM The power switch schematic is available in my LoRa alarm video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bH-rfWCXq9BreLc

Good idea, thank you for the tip. Found both the board and box at the Pi Hut. I also run MM Basic on my Pico's (e.g. as PicoMites). They are much easier to de-bug than Arduino in my experience. The PicoMite is now a very powerful little device based on quite a few years of ongoing development of MMB. There are various versions of the PicoMite, including one for the Pico W (WebMite) so you can run simple web-based apps on it. Be interesting to see a video from you on it. Enjoy your KZbins BTW - always a good watch! 🙂

Can you make a video about your project with the tap switch? Does it use a piezo disc?
