The RPM SxS Catch Can is all aluminum and fully chambered oil catch can built to provide the absolute best performance! Designed to mount directly to the chassis and use the factory ¾” crankcase breather hose to allow for a simple and quick install! A pre filter is included to keep dust and debris free from the crankcase breather filter as well. The use of our 12-AN fitting makes installation clean, and allows for easy removal for maintenance later on. Our o-ring sealed drain valve makes emptying the catch can easy and leak free during operation.
It's no secret that forced induction engines create an abundance of oil/gas/condensation waste. Due to emissions laws & such, this waste has to be recycled back through the engine & “burned off”. This oily mess is the “ messy film” you find caked to your charge tubes, turbo inducer blades, and inside the intercooler. Not only can these gasses and liquids create tuning headaches by skewing the air fuel ratio, they can also increase the chances of detonation ( oil & condensation do not combust well). The RPM SxS Catch Can’s job is to collect this oily mess so that it can be manually drained later on. All necessary hardware to cap off your factory breather & completely install the catch can are included!

You should have pipe sealant on the drain plug, and I think the catch can should be mounted vertically.

Pipe sealent to prevent leaks? And vertical mounting would be ideal but the way it's mounted works good enough without any problems.

Good video! Quick question… that system its designed have vacuum from the turbo now that its deleted from going back there is the blow by gases and oil going to be able to come out normally or sole its going to stay on the engine ?

Thanks 🤙 and the gases and oil residue no longer go back into the engine they are directed to the catch can where they can be emptied

@@GoTimeUTV The question its that with vacuum from the turbo all the gases and oil came out easily now that you don’t have any vacuum from the turbo its only some of it coming out ?

I get your question now 👍. I never thought about it that way but then again I didn't know the turbo worked as a vacuum to get the gases out.

Do you know if the bolts are stainless steel? My buddy has evo's can and they arent s.s, and look like trash.

Not sure if the bolts are stainless steel or anodized, but apart from it being dirty, it still looks in great shape, and it has been through most terrains except for snow.

How did you get that plug in did you lube it up I'm having difficulty plugging it

I don't recall but more then likely I did. It was a struggle I think I used a washcloth over it to be able to push it in because it was hurting my hand a bit.

Horrible place to install the catch can.. plus not all the junk fluid will be drained from that angle.. 😂

It's been working fine for me. Of course it's not essential placement but it works nevertheless.
