My kit did not have any hose clamps, had my own, no big deal as I was going to throw the spring clamp away anyway. Simple install, nice product.

Quality stuff right there! It fits perfectly tucked up in there behind the clutch intake tube!

Maybe a dumb question. If you unhook the hose from the intake where you have the motor pulling crankcase ventilation air to now simply venting it arent you gonna have alot less condensation coming out of the crankcase? You go from pulling it some to hoping it travels up there by pressure that may or may not exist. Seems this goes from pulling the gases to venting. My only thought is this gonna create a problem?

The gases don't and shouldn't be PULLED. The real question with the intake PULLING the gasses into intake where we unhook the hose is, how efficient is burning condensation and oil vapors in a combustion engine?
@derek976710 ай бұрын
Ive hooked up your catch can and there is no condensation or oil vapors in the can after 60 miles. So I think its efficient in those 60 miles to answer your question. Now I assume it will eventually catch some but thats where I am at. Now my question. Does installing your catch can change any crankcase pressure or lead to any engine damage?@@RPMPowersports

@@derek9767 no, it will never cause issues of such.

@@RPMPowersports Great because its impossible not to have pull from the stock setup. Its common sense especially as the air filter plugs on a turbo charger intake. Its nice to have your assurance that no more turbo charger intake pull of the crankcase gases will cause any motor damage. Take Care.

Just installed your clutch tube fan. awesome by the way. but would there be enough clearance with this set up or maybe install it to the back fire wall
@RPMPowersports2 жыл бұрын
Yes! we run them both on our Pro XP!

Why would you put a filter on the catch can if that is a closed system. Can't have that filter if you get into mud and water thanks
@RPMPowersports Жыл бұрын
It still needs to ventilate. The filter has a water repellent pre filter.

Can this be installed on a pro that sees water and mud regularly?
@RPMPowersports3 жыл бұрын
As long as you're not submerging the machine you're good! The filter has a water repellent pre filter on it.

How often should drain it?
@RPMPowersports3 жыл бұрын
There is no exact calculation, just depends on fuel, weather, humidity etc.
