Beautiful sound. Nimrod was my late mother's favourite piece and it is very moving to hear this rendition and the care you have taken with the arrangement and performance. She'd have been in tears as I find myself now. Uplifting tears from fond memories evoked. Thank you and to the NHS now and who cared for my Mum back in 2009/10. 👍

When I was a young child in Canada, if you did something stupid, we called you a Nimrod. As one who has matured since then, this makes no sense to me now. This is one of the greatest musical works of all time! Bravo gentlemen!

I've always admired composers and arrangers who write excellent melodic lines in the lower parts. For example, G. F. Handel and jazz big band composer Thad Jones. There are a lot of boring alto voice or 4th tenor jazz sax parts. All of Matthew Knight's lower lines are very lovely, so the player wants to make the best, most musical performance. The lower parts are great to hear, and would be delightful to play. Also, it's clear that Knight was writing for this particular group. There's a double high Bb at 3:14. My trombone ensemble has a good arrangement of Nimrod, but it's not that stratospheric. The arrangement has a sumptuous, lovely sound, just a delight to hear repeatedly. A superb performance. I first found out about British orchestral trombone playing many decades ago when I got a London Phil, Georg Solti recording of Liszt's "Les Preludes". Knocked me over.

How can I improve the quality and consistency for my student’s audio feedback in zoom? They can hear me perfectly but when I listen to them, their sound goes in and out. I don’t know if it’s their internet connection or their microphone. I can zoom perfectly when I teach my math lessons. Any suggestions?

Thank you for this. It was a shame though that I couldn't get rid of the subtitles, even though I had opted not to have them and that border flashing on and off was a nuisance; both faults that the performance did not deserve.

What did you use to play in sync thru Zoom? Was there any additional software...Sounds great BTW!
