I'm very disappointed. Didn't realize that he would actually defend this. But maybe he's playing devil's advocate. West is not a bad person. He's great for the show. Him and Ciara will probably be friends on season 9. But the fact that there is no acknowledgment that how he handled it was horrible and that he definitely manipulated her is crazy. Ciara & West - Here's the problem, Nick. She told him exactly what her intentions were and if those weren't his, or he didn't want to possibly pursue commitment, to get out. YES it's OK that he decided he didn't want to seriously date her. That's not the issue. The issue is he knew that for awhile, but didn't tell her so he could keep her around for convenience.

Nick goes into every topic with a poorly thought-out conclusion, and when facts are presented, he digs in his heels like Lauren from Utah. Wes pursued Sierra, knowing her intentions were clear because she made them very clear. Wes lied about being exclusive during the summer because he was sleeping with other girls. He then proceeded to parade her around his family across the Midwest. He slept with her, knowing what it meant to her, but was never serious about engaging in the relationship that she needed. He used the excuse of the fans to break it off. There is no guarantee that a relationship will work, but the person who dropped all their walls is feeling hurt. Why did you pursue me? All of this could’ve been prevented, and breaking up without a real reason other than newfound celebrity status is simply messed up.

And Ciara made some strong statements for the cameras but that apparently changed when they weren't shooting in the fall and had sex with him anyway. She made West play the long game and he did it, only better than her.

At the end of the day, I think West and Ciara ra will be fine and be friendly next season. I want him to stay on the show. I don't think Nick is holding him accountable. I think Nick is making the excuse of he's 28, actually 29. I cannot believe Nick is going so hard for West . West was not honest. He said one thing and then totally contradicted it by treating Ciara like his girlfriend. That man was snuggling her in her bed every single episode. That horse back ride was supposed to be his way of indicating that he was serious about pursuing a relationship. I agree that Ciara has some responsibility in what happened with West, but did you ask West why he would pursue Ciara, take her to meet his parents in Missouri, take her to his brother's house, take her to a friend's wedding, and also spend every day with her if he wanted something causal? She said repeatedly she isn't a girl that you just sleep with. She wanted to know his intentions. I think she should have stayed with that mindset but Ciara really liked West and she let her emotions take over instead of following her initial thoughts. That doesn't mean that West should just take advantage of her feelings towards him to sleep with her. I agree he isn't Sandoval, but he clearly didn't care about her feelings. He pursued her for 6 plus months until just before the show aired. That is horrible behavior.

In the SH reunion they said the paparazzi showed up when Carl came to Lindsay's apt while he was there to pick up some of his things. Lindsay was the only one who knew he was going to be there during that window. The picture of all the girls at dinner was taken by Lindsay and posted. And it was months after the breakup.

I knew Sam Asghari when he was younger @viallfiles, He used to bodyguard Isla Vista Parties ( UCSB student town about a square mile of 30k students ) .. look up Isla Vista to see the party scene. This was one of my favorite episodes of RR and Zach Gilford/Friday Night Lights raised me for so many years and pre-teen years. So .. this ep was great. That being said, Nick's take on Ciara and West was a bit all over the place. I agree with him that Ciara didn't follow through on her own boundaries, 100%. But... West is LYING (which Nick keeps saying he didn't lie...he absolutely did). At the reunion, Ciara said that she "gave West an out" by asking him point blank - "Do you want to work towards a relationship/are we going to move this forward/etc" and West said YES - AND THEN SHE SLEPT WITH HIM. She finally felt like she did have some sort of commitment or security from him in that moment, plus the wedding and the meeting parents, etc. It's not until AFTER they have sex that he told everyone, "I decided to end it before it got too messy." He knew he didn't mean what he was saying when he said he wanted to work towards having a real relationship with Ciara. So this whole, "West has been authentically himself this whole time and it's Ciara's fault for not seeing that," doesn't really make sense to me, and most people who are seeing Ciara's valid feelings in this. That to say, this whole season with Ciara and all of the men objectifying her to no end was so icky and disgusting to me and her crying made my heart break for her. You've got motherfucking Jesse Solomon saying "WHY WON'T YOU HAVE SEX WITH MY FRIEND," you have the girls asking you about it, you have WEST asking you about it and then you listen and you have sex with the man and then he leaves you. It's just gross and I feel like her tears at this reunion was a culmination of all the pressure and noise and her frustration with her not listening to herself. It's sad, actually. I don't hate West at all, definitely disappointed though. I feel like he is well-aware enough about himself to an extent that he can learn quickly and actually be a great guy. I wouldn't even be mad at Ciara if she chose to give him another chance, but he would definitely have to have shown some growth and really value her the way she wants to be valued. All I know is .. she better not ever go back to that mouse-man Austen Kroll.

i think nick was missing that Ciara gave West and out after horseback riding. She said at the reunion that in the car she told him basically if you don’t want to do this then that’s fine we can end it here and he said no i wanna stay doing this with you. so West 100% lead Ciara on.

If Lindsay ISN’T paying you guys to take her side blindly on absolutely any issue, then you seem to just distrust the judgment of absolutely everyone else on the Summer House cast about the way Lindsay has handled relationships with all of them following this breakup - and think they’re misjudging her through years of lived experience, and you know better. Every girl in that photo Lindsay posted of the girl dinner besides Gabby, was irritated enough by being made part of her narrative of making Carl the villain, to take it up with her at the reunion. So that’s all we need to know about whether or not Lindsay was painting a misleading image of the dinner - everyone at the dinner felt used by her when she did that. The fact that Lindsay would never care enough about others’ feelings to appreciate that unless it’s being brought up at a reunion, is exactly why she’s gotten where she is with all her relationships on the cast (horrible).

I feel like I’m with Nick on the west of it all. It’s disappointing that he is still emotionally immature and couldn’t get his shit together to be with Ciera and probably string her along for too long, which really sucks. But at the end he is just emotionally immature and wasn’t ready. The bravo fandom were the ones to put so much hope on him and then were disappointed, rather than listen to his fears and doubts that he expressed the whole summer. He just needs to grow up, see a therapist and figure out why he couldn’t get there. I think he explained everything and what he was going through at the time and I am prepared to give him some Grace....The conversation with Elise . For instance, actually went for 45 minutes and it was broken down to three minutes by the film editors... And he does take responsibility for his lack of empathy with regard to this conversation and explains some of the context ... And this is really worth seeing rather than just taking something that happened 12 months ago as something he did not learn from. because he definitely learned a lot especially being able to look back at himself and get another perspective from the audiences point of view
