It's not universal, depends on State to State.... Like 2023 mai Karnataka mains cutoff 54.13 and final 46.25 so agar kisine 64.13 bhi karta hay score then he need 103 marks in interview for final selection

Karnataka's cutoff was too low in the last 2 years. I think this is because they are selecting more than 3 times of candidates in mains that's why candidates need more marks than cutoff to clear.

Gujrat ka pta mhi yrr vacancy kmm hai phir bhi itni kam cutoff kyu gai hai. Syd jyada logo ko select kia hai. Aur agr aesa hua hai to minimum 15 above cutoff to hona hi chahiye.

Same condition will apply if 15 marks above cutoff than nearly 60 in interview will selected. Or 10 marks above cutoff and 70+ interview selected.

In the case of Karnataka, This stat is Wrong --- In Karnataka, UR Candidates He/She need minimum of 25 Marks more than the cutoff ( If they are from KARNATAKA ), for other state candidates they need at least 35+ more than cutoff

But this year I guess the ratio for interview is good compared to previous year.. So cutoff has increased which shocked every aspirant. Maybe the ones with +15 also have good chances this time if the interview goes Soomthly
