0:24 “con chó mày chết với tao” means “you’re dead to me, dog” I love how this mod incorporates personality to soldiers rather then just having simple call outs :)

@@oaples8790 I can hardly translate maybe a fraction of what they say, sorry bro. My favorite line was at 1:21, some VC dude was saying "G.I. something chet", something along the lines of "G.I. dead". His voice sounded young and raspy, like a smoker, which makes sense for a soldier. 1:58 Chua oi= Oh my god, maybe?

@@Anonland can't really hear 1:21 because of the gunshots, but it's "bị áp chế" at the end, so probably suppressed. 1:58 is "Trời ơi", which is basically omg as you said.

Sorry for asking this, but are you vietnamese? Because the original hired the same voicer actor for south and north vietnamese. I read somewhere vietnamese noticed the dialect

The US lines make me cringe even more than the base game, except for the southern guy he's not bad. They sound more like IEF era soldiers than they do Vietnam War, they're making quotes and pop culture references that they shouldn't even know. They also don't sound at all afraid to be in battle. Some better post production on the audio to make it sound less like someone's shouting into the mic would probably help honestly. I can't speak for the Vietnamese/Lao voice lines but they sound alright here. The Australian ones are just hilarious.

They volunteered; anyone could've done voice lines. More variety in voices was the goal here.

@@unluckylecherouslustfulidiot That's a admirable goal, but when the rest of the mod trends toward being as authentic and as historically accurate as possible, there's a dissonance being created and it really takes away from the experience. Quality over quantity. Overall, like I said, the only real problem I have is with the US lines, as an American.
