There are not enough Dr. Getsons to treat everyone who suffers with this... I appreciate his valued intelligence... the fact that he devotes himself to this (" leprosy") condition which isolates millions, and cause the loss of every quality of life, tells me he really does care.... I for one got smacked down with this things back in Feb. of 2014 as I waited for a knee surgery.. my story continues.... when I finally discpovered Dr. Getson, within 20 minutes of the first lecture, He had run down the EXACT checklist of all my symptoms, with such CLARITY, I was stunned, at the amount of $$$$ I had spent over what is now past 6 years.... I thrive on both my personal FAITH in GOD ( the spiritual)... and Dr. Getson's treasure trove of his life's work, which he freely shares, so people like me who are shut in , and whose body screams 24/7...can have hope. This man is an inspiration.

That's it. Me three. Years of body screaming 24-7, no luck with various tests, images, and lab work. I'm just in my first week of knowing what injured me and beginning to have hope. It's been total devastation. CRPS wide spread from Long Covid leaving GI tract inflamed all because so many didn't believe me till now. Tons of weird symptoms. I'm not taking any crap from my primary doctor because he's lazy. He responds best when I get loud and call him out. Like I've got energy for that. Phil has been my dr for 14 years, after being misdiagnosed for 3 years. my workmans comp company STATE FARM DENIED ME TREATMENT AT THE ER AFTER BEING BITTEN BY A CAT THAT PIERCED MY RIGHT INDEX FINGER 6 TIMES WHILE WORKING AS A VET TECH. AFTER THEY DENIED ME ANY TREATMENT MY BOSS HAD TO CALL HIS STATE FARM AGENT AND TELL HIM I NEEDED IMMEDIATE TX, MY FINGER WAS THE SIZE OF A QUARTER AND TURNING BLACK, OOZING AND PAINFUL. I WAS SENT BACK TO THE ER AND BEING IN THE BUSINESS OF WORKING WITH ANIMALS AND KNOWING THE DISEASES THEY CARRY I BEGGED THE DR FOR IV ANTIBIOTICS. HE CALLED STATE FARM AND THEY WOULD NOT AUTHORIZE IV ANTIBIOTICS. I WAS GIVEN TWO AUGMENTIN PILLS AND SENT HOME. 5 HOURS LATER I WAS IN THE OPERATING ROOM WITH THE CENTER FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND AN ORTHOPEDIC DR WHO TOLD ME I WAS MORE THAN LIKELY GOING TO LOOSE MY FINGER. THE CDC TOOK 15 CULTURES AND I HAD 12 OUT OF 15 DISEASES THAT CATS CARRY INCLUDING CAT SCRATCH FEVER. ALL OF THIS COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED IF A MULTIBILLION INS COMPANY WOULD HAVE ALLOWED ME TO HAVE IV ANTIBIOTICS. THIS WAS IN 2001 IT IS NOW JAN 20, 2018 AND AFTER STATE FARM SENT ME TO HAVE ACUPUNCTURE, TENS UNITS MY CONSTANT SCREAMING OF THE MOST HORRIBLE PAIN ANY HUMAN COULD EVER ENDURE, THEY THEN SENT ME TO A PSYCHIATRIST, I WAS SENT TO A DR WHO TOLD ME I HAD BREAST CANCER...ALL WHILE IGNORING THE ORTHOPEDIC DR THAT HAD OPERATED ON ME AND TOLD STATE FARM FROM THE DAY AFTER I HAD THE SURGERY THAT I HAD RSD AND NEEDED TO SEE A SPECIALIST, 18 MONTHS LATER THEY SENTR T ME TO A PAIN MANAGEMENT DR IN MARLTON NJ DR KWON. DR KWON WAS JUST A DRUG DEALER WITH A LICENSE AND HAS NO IDEA WHAT RSD IS. HE WORKS FOR THE INSURANCE CO AND WRITES WHAT THEY WANT HIM TO SAY. I WAS THEN SENT TO ANOTHER PAIN MANAGEMENT DR WHO FINALLY TOLD STATE FARM "THIS WOMAN NEEDS A SPECIALIST IN RSD, EVERY THING YOU HAVE DONE TO HER AND PHYSICALLY PUT HER THROUGH HAS CAUSED A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF PAIN AND I CAN NOT HELP HER. I AM REFERRING HER TO PHIL GETSON AND DR SCHWARTZMAN" I FINALLY MET BOTH OF THEM, THEY IMMEDIATELY CHECKED ME INTO COOPER FOR 5 DAYS OF KETAMINE. AFTER THOSE 5 DAYS I WENT BACK FOR OUT PATIENT KETAMINE 3 TIMES A WEEK FOR A MONTH. 3 WEEKS LATER I WAS ABLE TO LEARN HOW TO DEAL WITH THE PAIN IN MY OWN WAY, AND DR GETSON TOLD ME ' ROSELYNNDA DO NOT GIVE UP, YOU ARE A FIGHTER, WITH EVERY THING STATE FARM PUT YOU THROUGH, YOU CAN NOT GIVE UP. SO ONE WEEK LATER I JOINED A FIRE DEPARTMENT, I TOOK THE MOST CHALLENGING FIREFIGHTER COURSE FOR THE STATE OF NJ, I THEN BECAME AN EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN, WHILE I CONTINUED TO WORK AS A VET TECH SPECIALIST. DR GETSON IS A COMPASSIONATE MAN WHO BELIEVES IN HIS WORK AND DOES NOT GIVE UP ON HIS PATIENTS. OVER THE YEARS HE HAS BECOME A GREAT FRIEND AND SOME ONE I TRUST WITH MY LIFE.

I hope you + millions of us will finally be permitted access to the health care we need, when it is needed, + that our medical care doesn't continue to be withheld by sadistic torturers + genocide perpetrators in the USA - as verified + reported by the international group, Human Rights Watch. Patients w/ CRPS + other conditions which are often co-morbid rare chronic painful diseases are now qualified to seek asylum overseas because we're a Human Rights Watch confirmed + reported group targeted for human rights abuses including the withholding all forms of timely or any urgently needed medical care while being tortured by sadists masquerading as gov't agencies, insurance companies, hospitals, ERs, + "health care" money collectors who often can't stop themselves from committing homicide +/or genocide upon those who are the most vulnerable + at the greatest risk to be targeted for extermination. Decades of willful medical negligence + malpractice continues to result in unnecessary permanent disability which is known + medically documented to cause chronic pain for which 90% of primary + specialists "drs" dump patients while other primary care + specialists physicians refuse to evaluate or treat disabled patients in chronic pain - but these "drs" who are unwilling to evaluate us or to provide medical treatment have no problems billing for evaluations, diagnostic testing, treatment, + "conclusions" that "no care is needed" although the patients were never even evaluated, tested, treated, or provided medical care: Such gov't + insurance companies solicit such "drs" to perpetuate insurance fraud in order to deny access +/or the provision of urgent, life saving medical care + that is beyond grotesque + disgusting. It's so easy to kill a disabled patient in unmanaged excruciating pain of known + documentated causation by refusing to view the patient's available medical records, by withholding pain control assistance + also non pain control medical care including prescriptions the patient continues to be qualified to receive + needs to receive to live, by denying mobility devices to access any health care whatsoever, by making wait times excruciatingly painful + up to 12 hours longer than the patients can sit w/ more abuse + torture based upon the disabled patient known + medically documented inability to medically + functionally be unable to tolerate it; by withholding ER access + medical care then falsifying the patients' medical records; through patient dumping by the surgeons who botched the surgeries by using a multiply medically contraindicated device so, instead of seeking to address + remediate his error, the surgeon instead "dumps" the patients they harmed by further harming them including by abandoning them in agony. Then, the patients' primary care providers who are discovered to be working w/ a state medical board restricted + probationary license has been non complaint w/the requirements + conditions of his privilege to "practice medicine." This realization occured after such derelict physicians take their misplaced angry domestic + disabled abuse, + elder abuse out on patients disabled by unmanaged rare chronic diseases causing excruciating unmanaged + unbearable widespread intractible pain + widespread loss of basic ADLs + basic functions needed to survive without 24/7 care medically documented as required by the patient but never prescribed or provided. Never mind the patients' dried out spinal cords in a genetically too thin spinal column can be severed at any time by unstable discs - especially the ones which ruptured from 4mm pre surgery to 15mm post surgery rupture + the 7mm pre surgery to 10mm post surgery rupture + the disabled patient can no longer even shuffle w/ a walker, transfer, shower, or regularly sleep +, if the patients do sleep, they begin the day, week, month, + then over a year of awaking sobbing in agony because no one will provide even tertiary "dr" reported + agreed upon non/pain medical care + rx management w/ 30 day or less follow up, the provision of an electric wheelchair, referrals to palliative care + other specialist care w/ diagnostic testing although the "dr" claimed to be willing to take on such the complex patient in front of witnesses: Instead, the "new dr" breaks new records for "patient abandonment in under 24 hours." Disabled patients w/ rare chronic painful diseases who continue to lose any remaining ability to perform basic ADLs, who have adrenal insufficiency from unmanaged + uncontrollable excruciatingly pain are blamed by the "drs" who are later learned to have incorrectly performed the tests for their resulting chronic + potentially deadly "infection testing" + to have prescribed 12 wrong medicines for "make dr angry!!!" unresolved chronic infections: Such disabled patients in uncontrolled widespread excruciating chronic pain are abusively yelled at by the "drs" plus the "drs' staff" for "wasting the dr's time" (?!) after the patients are abandoned in pain for 9 hours after the patients' appts despite being medically transforted from out of area at the patients' cost despite subsisting on early 1980s pink collar poverty "income," patients are then absively yelled at for having non-existent "fat hanging off their legs causing chronic Ecoli, Staph Type B, + MRSA infections" when photographic evidence taken demonstrates no such fat. The non-existent fat is medically determined + documented, after 4 months of having 9 months of having appts cancelled even while in the waiting or exam room, to see finally see a specialist who determines the cause of the infections is hormonal imbalance caused by chronic pain, but the rx provided comes w/ a 40% increase in cervical cancer + no requested substitute is provided. Future medical appts + rx refills from the domestic violence + abuse of the disabled + elderly primary care physician on a restricted probationary state board medical license were denied 4 months earlier at the appt where the "dr" showed who he really is - a frightening, dangerous, medically negligent perpetrator of patient homicides. He's undeterred by his probationary + restricted medical license or by the laws he breaks. He's just another negligent abusive perpetrator or torture + homicide/genocide posing as a "dr" in the USA. Slanderous claims by "drs" such as these include falsified claims + medical records that pts weigh 400+ extra lbs along w/ false claims of patients being "too fat to complete any diagnostic tests" are made precisely + effectively to prevent disabled patients' access to specialist evaluation, diagnostic testing, medical care + the possible provision of long overdue life saving "healthcare." Will our society + the medical profession defend what is left of its humanity rather than rushing to lose it in exchange for grotesquely obscene profits at the cost of disabled patients' quality of life + life itself? When will the ADA, Elder + Disability Abuse, Domestic Violence, + Patients' Rights laws be enforced, if ever?

I've now had it for 43 years. Started from a cast being put on too tight. A couple hundred surgeries later, 3 amputations and on my deathbed far too many times! I really like this doctor. God Bless You for doing what you do. Dr. Schwarzman was my first doctor. I figured it out for myself after 20 years of doctors not knowing what it was and called his office. It was RSD when I got it as well. It is going on 47 years now for me to have this and it has gotten worse for the last few years and I am now going to have a pain pump in as nothing else has helped me. I have tried it all. I was in a car accident but did not feel it was bad, I WAS WRONG. Thank you for these talks about RSD/CRPS.

Thank you for this information. I have recently been diagnosed but has taken a year. My first diagnosis was thoracic outlet syndrome which was since retracted to being CRPS now. My case is different as mine started when I developed idiopathic inter-cranial hypertension. We are unsure how I developed this disease process. I’ve seen so many doctors and now hopefully soon they are talking about a spinal cord simulation in my neck. I’m hoping for relief of the burning and stinging pain in my arm.
