RSE Route 120 (Re-Orchestrated)

Well, this was meant to be a birthday gift to Courtney, but I guess plans change. With that said, I want to wish her a very happy, and very early birthday. Without a doubt you've heard that Pokémon dropped a bombshell that two new games will be coming out in November: Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. We do not know if they are sequels, or if they are remakes, so please don't pester me or spread rumours in my comments which will earn you an insta-block because I hate misinformation. I expect we'll hear more at E3, so now I'm going to talk about the music. Route 120 and Route 121 have my favourite music of all time in a Pokémon game. This song means so much to me, I can't even coherently put it into words. I really wanted to give the song a similar, yet different feel. Sort of like having a peanut butter sandwich on a tortilla...except musically. I've been working with brass a lot recently because up until now I've felt really uncomfortable with it because I never thought I could get a realistic sound with what I was working with, but now let's just say brass and I are warming our relationship a bit and melting the polar ice that kept us from working well together in past. I hope you like this, Dragoknights. It's a special day.

This and Route 119 are my favorite musics of gen 3, as well as the routes themselves, because they're a jungly area of little civilization, with constant (?) rain and intensely green colors and all, and the music reinforces the adventure feel awesomely.

Awesome re-orchestration! The instrumentals are very well done, which gives the theme a more memorable tone. And for your Comment Question: I would really like to see Pokémon-Amie, or possibly following Pokémon (HG/SS, for example) re-implemented into the new games. From the older games, though, I would love to re-battle trainers from around the region.

Personally, I feel as though the new games would be something like Pokemon BW 2 is to Pokemon BW. Brendan and May will probably be older in the new games and there'll have to be new protagonists then. Then I would speculate there would be the re-rise of Team Aqua and Team Magma! I have some more speculations to go about, so I guess I won't spam the comments of the video with my excitement. Anyways, as for the music, again more nostalgic as ever!!!! Also wanted to say this is fantastic, Ive been playing pokemon since gen 1, the first game I ever bought with my own money was pokemon blue, but Gen 3 will always be my favorite. The beautiful,tropical lanscapes of Hoenn, combined with gorgeous music such as this. Hearing this makes me extremely nostalgic, and I feel you captured of the essence of the piece perfectly. The gentle lead in with the piano gave me chills xD Keep up the great work.

It's pretty great we'll get to see Hoenn again. Although i'm in the major minority here, but I've been waiting for Sinnoh remakes, haha. Good thing about Hoenn remakes and or sequels coming out, is it would bring us closer to a Sinnoh remake. It would be the next game to be remade most most likely.
