Thanks Josh. They were relevant for this type of study.

Markets have a tendency to mean revert in the small hours (overnight) and trend in the active hours during market sessions.

Seems like the volume on all of your videos is quite a bit lower than other videos on KZbin

Not all your videos have automatic translation into Italian. (what a shame) I always try to follow you because your job is very well done

Notice, they correlated the USD/CAN because their markets trade with identical market hours, the other 3 markets lead/lag the US market. Run eur/gbp, and euro/franc and see how they track. I don't do 4x. I was trying to find edge in day trading.

Great stuff - I’d love to see a comparison with Stochastic?

Ok. Good idea. You know Willaims % R is pretty much the same as the stochastic line?

It would be interesting to see what the results would be like if you took a position when the oscillator moved out of oversold/overbought territory. Oscillators can stay a long time overbought or oversold before they revert.
@TheTransparentTrader3 жыл бұрын
Yes that's true. However you do tend to lose a decent part of the move if you wait for it to move out before entering.

Would be interesting to see the equity curve for Williams R on USDCAD to see how consistent it is By the way sporadic and not sporodic Thanks and Cheers

I'm really enjoying your videos! I'm trying to sort out the difference between Williams %R and his Ultimate Oscillator. Have you reviewed the Ultimate Oscillator? It's supposed to give less false signals? It seems odd to me that he created both as they have so much overlap.

I REALLY like your approach to the market! I am new to this channel and maybe I missed something but what I am "missing" is the absolute and relative drawdown information. It says a lot of the performance of a strategy and a portfolio. Is this something your considering to "add" to your excellent videos or what is your view on this? Keep up the good work !!!!

In some of my other videos I look at drawdowns more. I like to focus on consistent behaviour over years of the test period. This is apparent by a smooth climbing equity curve. And the smoother the curve, the less harsh the drawdown periods.

@@TheTransparentTrader I understand you but I do think the combined set of information gives a "better" view of the strategy or portfolio. This together with used risk. Nevertheless, fantastic work!

Indicators do serve a purpose, confusion of traders.

I don't believe in the concept of overbought/oversold. I think there is nothing like that. From my poor personell expierience EUR/USD is the most difficult pair to trade. There is a guy named VP who loves indicator based trading. Did you ever test this kind of trading he is promoting and when yes what are your experiences. Thank you for your eye openers. Very interesting to follow. Thank you a lot.
