However the original comics, from what I understand, were parodying the types of comics at the time, which were grim, gritty and, supposedly more realistic. Idk who left Cartoon Network on, but I walked into the living room one night, a small child who already had a fear of clowns, and problems sleeping at night, and the Joker Jr. scene from that movie is playing. No one is in the living room. And I watched the whole scene. I can still remember a lot of that whole scene very vividly, and Im pretty sure I haven’t actually watched the movie since that night. Either way, Batman definitely traumatized me growing up, and anyone who says “it’s Batman! Its a cartoon! It’s for kids!” Can actually fuck off.

Beware guys, a living will isn't always a legally binding document. People can disagree and go against it depending on the circumstances. Make sure you talk to a lawyer and get the correct legally binding forms filled out for your state/country. also, for the book one, I can't tell you how many manga and comics I helped the librarian relocate from the kids section. They thought that if there was pictures it was for children. Then I would open it up and show them a very graphic passionate hugging scene or a violent bloody decapitation scene. Yeah.

Second: They stopped asking me to watch the little cuties, when I started to teach them some harmless but annoying pranks. They wanted to be babysit by me, the parents hated it.😁 Book story: Exactly same with anime! This happens me all the time! A few years ago my mom asked me to let my youngest sister watch cartoons with us. She was 3. Me and my other sister were watching I think Elfen Lied. I warned her. She didn't care, so I showed my mom a bloody part. I suggested she watches with us a different one. Since then mom hates anime. But the youngest is doing well with Pokemon and her current intrest is FNAF.

Third story: when someone tells me this sh*t about the intact body, I have this answer: "If God is all-powerfull, I don't see why He would have a problem to resurrect me from a bunch of ashes". But it's always the same, people using religion to control other people's lives and bodies. Ma'am, your daughter isn't the one going to hell for this, you are. Fifth story: I can't fault some random person for not knowing that the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics were NOT for kids. I mean, I only became aware of that later in my life after I started reading Usagi Yojimbo. But still, if the cashier is telling you that the book is not recomended for kids, you might damn well listen to them. You don't get to accuse someone of traumatizing your kids when it was you who decided to go against the other person's advice.

It’s better to enter eternal life with only one hand or one foot than to be thrown into eternal fire with both of your hands and feet." An important thing to remember about TMNT: Issue 1 starts with the Turtles picking a fight with, and slaughtering, a street gang. It ends with the Shredder, bleeding out from Leo's katana having gone clean through him, falling from a rooftop with a live thermite grenade in his hand, (yes, he dies in the very first issue and never returns[1]). The "Heroes on a Half Shell" were raised and trained for the sole purpose of carrying out a revenge murder, which they do without hesitation. [1] Several other people do take up the name over the years, including Raphael.

The pool story is one that is disturbingly common. My family used to have an above ground pool years ago (the only one on the street) and the amount of times that the nosy, entitled kids tried to climb the fence and swim without our knowledge was insane. I think in the one my Nana and Pappaw are buried in only deals with the burial of cremated remains as the few times I’ve been there I haven’t seen a regular headstone; just ones big enough to cover up where the urn is, hold a first and last name and the year of birth and year of death. The one Grammy and Granpy are in has a mix of cremated and casket burials

That whole "need a body for heaven" thing is so completly incomprihensible to me. Europe does not keep bodies intact for long, cremation or grinding the body to dust is the traditional way to deal with them because there's just not enough space for bodies. Heck, half of london is a filled with bodies from old graveyards that got repurposed with no care to even remember there were graves there. This is some crazy shit from the USA again.

The only thing I have heard is that the Catholic Church, while it condones cremation, does not condone separating the ashes. They all have to remain together. You can't split among family members, or keep some and spread some. But of course, that is just according to the Vatican.

That ones about being the youngest female in the generation, I think she forgot about the oldest female cousin always being the stuck babysitting all the younger cousins. Or how the boys are used as bellboys and runners/goffers (go-for this, go-for that). Unless you are older than 80, when your at a family gather, you're going to be pressured into doing inconvenient things to make life easier for someone older than you. It's all part of the "oh so fun" stress and drama of large family gatherings. Probably explains why family reunions are not as common as they were a couple generations ago.
