Hey Justin, that error should be related to admin rights. Right click the file and "Run as Administrator".

I have followed the procedure described in this video but while trying to run the software (RSLogix Emulate 500) an error message pops up stating 'Failed to update the system registry. That's what I work with more of the time. RSLogix 500 is a great learning tool, but it's not something I install on new equipment.

Hi James, after the download (depending on the type managed/direct), you should have either a single RA download manager file or 3 files for the software. The managed download, you need to launch it and it will save the same three files into an RA folder on your drive. Launch the files and install just like any other windows based software.
