My hesitation is the very poor build , gaps, paint finish etc. Going round a brand new car costing £50k plus with a ruler showing numerous gaps, poor alignment and scuffs on the paintwork highlights Tesla lack of care, pre inspection of their cars. Would you go around a BMW, MB or even a budget Vauxhall or VW car and find the same issues? And because it’s Tesla, we just accept it. I can’t get my head round why Tesla don’t do a comprehensive pre delivery inspection of all their cars, correct, and flag up the constant faults to the factories so they can improve over time. Do you find the U.K. version sits lower than the us? I ordered one whilst in the us, sat in one just to triple check myself and felt like it was a lot lower and sportier.

You would hope they put as much effort into the Quality of the build as they do adding all the software updates.

Very useful information. Collecting our China built M3P in a couple of months time so it will be interesting to see how a 2023 car compares.

Thanks for the excellent video. I wonder if you could say more about the heated steering wheel? On/off or variable settings, how warm is it, etc?
@simonprebble5533 жыл бұрын
It’s on or off. Pleasantly warm.

I feel like the Model 3 is gonna be really collectable car in the future. The 2020 Fremont refresh one will be the most collectable I think!

Looking at buying a Model 3 - at what point would you get back in touch with Tesla and in reality, what could they do?

I am amazed that the Fremont car is better than the Shanghai one. I did not expect that.
