Now I remember why I don't read comments on KZbin. Honestly, I thought RT had a better fan base. Sadly there is a good chunk of you who seem to enjoy perpetuating hatred. Have you ever suffered severe social anxiety? In regards to avoiding people in gaming shirts, having voiced an opinion online and then been harassed and threatened, coupling that with pre-existing social anxiety, I to would have avoided them. GamerGate may have started as a philosophical debate but it devolved into a rabid mob and lost sight of it's original objective. At what point do you stop protecting a Name more than the original Cause. Continuing to harass someone long after the incident is a sign of small mindedness and pettiness that is all to prevalent in society these days. Especially online. For every fandom and community that is welcoming and inclusive there is an increased opposite amount of vitriolic and exclusive. You found a home in videogames and comic books and geekdom when the normal world ostracised you and you should embrace that and love it, that doesn't mean everyone experiences it the same way, or that they should. It also means you should know what it's like to be bullied and harassed and therefore not wish to pass that pain onto others.

The initial premise of the movement may have had some merit, and if that is being constructively and intelligently purported now that is good. Accountability and reasoned debate are necessary. I have to say Felicia is probably one of the best celebrity guest stars on the rt podcast. Colton was also a great too. I like how she really fit in and acted pretty normally. She was along with them telling weird stories, talking about traveling and cons like the rt podcasters usually do. She even didn't bring up her own book, Burnie did. I know the podcast gets a ton of flack for putting on guest stars but this one was flawless. I found this to be an awesome podcast and I hope she comes back some time. I just wish I could download old podcasts onto my old LG again... sigh I miss the old website.

The important part of Felicia's post about crossing the street that you all seem to be forgetting when you claim that she hates gamers: "So I write this to urge any person, male or female, who now has the impulse to do what I did, to walk away from something they loved before, to NOT. Don’t let other people drive you away from gaming. Games are beautiful, they are creative, they are worlds to immerse yourself in. They are art. And they are worth fighting for, even if the atmosphere is ugly right now. A small minority are putting up barbed wire walls between us who love games. And that is sad. Because odds are 99% certain that those guys on the street who I avoided would have been awesome to talk to. I realize that letting the actions of a few hateful people influence my behavior is the absolutely worst thing I could do in life. And not an example I want to set, ever. So to myself and to everyone else who operates out of love not vengeance: Don’t abandon games. Don’t cross the street. Gaming needs you. To create, to play, to connect. To represent." Jeez people, do a smidgen of research before you jump on the hate train.

Languages have these thing called Past Participles, which, in English, are preceded by "have", in a similar way to the French _passé composé_, where we took it from. For the verb, "to sing," it goes as such: *Present*: I sing *Past*: I sang *Past Participle format*: I have sung In most cases, "sang" - in addition to most past tense forms - are just shortened versions of the past participle format. However, if you were to say, "I have sung that before," you could see why we have both. P.S.: Gavin, a pH of 6.8 is basic. It has to be higher than 7 to be acidic.

Wow, I didn't think that many people knew about all the crummy things Felicia has said at gamers and the gaming community, but these comments show me that people do! I wish Felicia just apologized for all the crummy and stupid things she's recently said about gamers and was more open minded about it all. She hangs out with a certain clique of people that would make it hard for her to do that though, they likely regularly convince her of a "misogyny" and a "gamers are terrible people" problem in gaming, much like they regularly convince themselves of it. It's like there's some people that get so high off the ground they forget who their audience is and instead of listening to them, they pretend to be an expert on them and speak "for" them and tell them they are all wrong and then persist to label them as something they are not... It's why gamers are sick of people like journalists, Felicia Day, Anita Sarkeesian, and so on, and gamers are bringing their respect to mainly KZbinrs and people that actually do have a profound respect for gamers, because they still are gamers no matter how big they seem to get, and they are nothing without their audience.

This has to be the most intelligent and interesting podcast yet. The topics include marriage, politics, books ... then again cats eating condoms ... haha

Gavin is right about what the wheel on the jet bridge is for, it is to control the height of the jet bridge but only to keep it level with the aircraft. as people and bags/cargo/mail is loaded onto an aircraft the plane actually lowers like your car or truck would, as this happens the wheel and arm move the jet bridge down so it remains level with the plane. It's also the same for unloading the aircraft, as the stuff comes off it raises the jet bridge up to follow it.
