Can I just get one thing straight: RWBY IS an anime, in almost every sense of the word. Anime is defined in the Merriam-Webster dictionary as: "A style of animation originating in Japan that is characterized by stark colorful graphics depicting vibrant characters in action-filled plots often with fantastic or futuristic themes" A Japanese STYLE of animation. That is not "Japanese animation". Anime is defined as a particular style of animation with its origins in Japan. When RWBY first aired people were asking where the ORIGINAL version was. That to me certainly seems like everyone who asked immediately believed it to be an anime, which means it has to have use said style of animation. Which, by English definition, makes it a fucking anime. If you want to go by pragmatics, if you go out to buy RWBY in store you will find RWBY in the anime section, I wouldn't recommend going by practical application though... you'll also find RvB there which is, for the most part, machinimation. And if you really want to be a dick and say "Well it's American anime" then you've already admitted that it's an anime. We don't say that the London Tower is a "British Pizza" we call it a pizza, why? BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT IS... regardless of pizza's italian origins...

Hayley Williams' voice is vastly different from Casey's as far as i can tell (Funny coincidence that they have the same surname though). Both have amazing voices imo. Also, the instrumentals are much heavier in this than any of Paramore's songs I think.

So, all RWBY songs seem to hold special meaning in the lyrics, like little hints to the story. Which makes me worried about some of the lyrics of this song. The part where it says "brilliant lights will cease to burn" as well as the "legends scatter" line have me concerned. I think Ozpin might be set to die later on.

Why do I feel it's like Summer Rose is singing this to her daughter in the beginning, Like this is her singing to Ruby. It feels like it. She is telling her daughter or the world that her daughter is the warrior they are waiting for.

There are TONS of different interpretations. Also she said "i don't want you to waste your life in VAIN" I wouldn't be suprised if Summer simply fell into some stupid trap of tried to fight an unwinnable battle like Pyrrha did.

To quote Matt the Mammoth Rider “Do you believe in destiny?” As far as what’ll turn out to be her last words go, these ones are very fitting. It’s one of those lines that, when you first hear it, you’re like, “Why is she…” for one second before it just clicks. Like a cascade, you remember her speech to Jaune back in V3C8 about destiny not being this inescapable thing to her, but a culmination, a final goal. Disparate pieces of a life’s journey, every step taken on every path, all with the same destination. Threads get tangled and frayed and doubting as time goes on, but they tie up in the end to become something, just like this. Maybe someone looks at the end result and wishes there was more, wishes those threads that were Pyrrha Nikos’s life became a fully-knitted sweater and not a single mitten, but what matters is she wasn’t looking at it that way. Pyrrha chose to do everything in her power to stop Cinder Fall, put up a hell of a fight, and even if the end result was brutal and unfair, she still looked her killer right in the eyes and told her, right down to her very soul, that Pyrrha fucking Nikos believed this was her destiny.. If this was it, this was it. Kill her all you want Cinder, but you’re not taking her life away like you have so many others; you’re killing a body, not a spirit, not an essence, not a soul who in passing achieves immortality.
