I used it, and rear camera is best to put under rear bumper. Putting it inside the car, makes LED lights turn rear window into mirror in the night. Putting it down under bumper, gives you more realistic distance and space feeling when going in reverse.

I purchased the Oxygentle Dual Lens Car Camera on Amazon and it worked just fine for the first two weeks. A few days into the 3rd week the setting to record sound kept switching off and today the unit just stopped working altogether. It's a week shy of the return policy so I will just order a new one (giving it a second try) a return the old one just so that I don't have to install the wiring all over again.

Does this revert to a normal rear view mirror when not being used for reversing? I have seen on some that there's a split screen with cameras on which obscures the rear view mirror. Pretty dangerous.

On most dash duel cam you have two wires to Bac camera , on mine Kia Sedona live wire is white , and on camera it goes white and red together, as in both are red , this will then bring on the guide lines when you put it in reverse, hope this helps test your wires to find out which is live or look up on line first , forgot to say you can wire them to your reverse lights ,

Ideally these do record front and back at the same time, so you should be able to do that. But again the software on some of these are buggy. Cant count in it. ☺️ please do subscribe thanks!

Thankyou, this is the only video I have found which describes the same carcam as mine, although mine is called an ASTON clearveiw in Thailand. Your video answered a few questions as my instructions are only in chinese. Yours has a Gravity sensor. mine just says G sensor which I assume is the same, but what does it do? Thank you :) the G Cam is supposed to prioritize sudden jerks during an accident or parking mishaps when it senses an impact... and that won't erase that clip... so that you can view these for reference...

The screen with automatically go off in sometime, check the settings I remember there was an option to keep the display on for a certain amount of time

BedsitBob I purchased one & the menu function Button does not work..Can't get into the menu .....Tried a ( pin) factory hard reset :: with a negative result...I emailed the seller today ..it needs replacing or repairing... Paid $70 Australian...didnt come with a USB cable or sd card either.. Ordered mine through ""Custom Case Mart"" saw the add on *Facebook* Very dissapointing *Straight off the bat* Menu button makes a ring tone:: but fails to go to the *menu screen* (can't set time date or anything. )::: consequently the unit is *Useless* Update ......The instructions were useless. The red wite needs to be connected to the positive terminal of the reversing lights. That's going to automatically start the camera in reverse gear

Sorry for the late reply. You see the red wire with the rear camera,. that needs to be connected to the reversing light wire. A mechanic can help. Once that is done, this will also automatically switch on the camera while reversing.
