As a Dublin supporter this is as good as it gets. A quarter-final appearance and a single digit defeat. Cork as with other top tier teams don't need to be over 70% their best to beat Dublin in a big match. Cork knew they would win this which explains their own flat performance. The real Cork will show up vs Limerick next day.

It was a poor enough game i thought. Not because Dublin lost as nobody expected us to win. Flat atmosphere, Cork were average, no real intensity.

@@hannahbanana701 Nonsense. I was at the game and Cork lost their heads and shape in the last 15 mins, the messing near the end of the game is a typical example. If Dublin hadn't missed 5 easy basically unmarked shot/frees in the first few minutes of the 2nd half Cork would have been in huge trouble.

A complete and utter borefest of a match. Never ever seen Cork so lacklustre, especially in the 2nd half. Form wise, Cork are gone back big time, so I genuinely don't see them troubling Limerick in the semi-final in two weeks time. I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see Cork winning. J,m,h,o. !!!
