He did long ago but he stated early in this video that he got bored with the more grindy bits of the game and gave up on it. Hes playing it again to see if they fixed it for the better and for it being a relatively new release. Hope that helps. 😊

This is so weird for me, because a. my play style is extremely different from Dan's, and b. the people I watch play this are people who play either TTYD professionally, or they play some kind of Mario professionally, and rarely other games. So to see someone not understand the mechanics is frustrating (I'm trying not to be frustrated), because i am used to everyone knowing them. And like, for the stolen coins. This is def a stream I couldn't have watched live, because I can only resist not backseating for so long with a game I know so well. If I'd have started it, I would have left because of this 😂 I'm just not made for it. I am definitely enjoying this (though in small pieces), because it's a good reminder for me that the ways people play games are good, no matter how they play them. It's good for me :)

4:12:27 I'd like to highlight this. I'd bet $1000 that chat was spamming something along the lines of "trans rights Vivian omg trans rights". I take no issue with Vivian being transgender. My only issue is that the constant praising has gotten really annoying at this point. It's like someone wins a metal at the Olympics, and now every time that person is seen in public, everyone goes "YO THAT PERSON WON THE OLYMPICS OMG!". It gets very annoying very quickly. I will emphasize again that it's not the topic itself that bothers me, it's the repetition.

@@EmmyEntropy2000 I've gone out of my way to check what chat said on the Twitch channel while the stream was still up. Chat was doing pretty much exactly what I predicted. Some outliers were a few people who didn't know who Vivian was and were confused, some people who were worried that it might be a spoiler, and one guy being negative about Vivian being trans because it doesn't prove that Nintendo is woke. (Or something along those lines.) I get to keep my imaginary $1000. My opinion would not have changed if chat was doing as you said because I've seen it happen on so many other channels.

I feel like part of the reason for Vivian spam is because the change highlights how much things have changed in regards to how trans people are viewed, as that aspect of Vivian was previously erased from the English localization.
