5:39:59 fun neuroscience fact!! this is actually how brain surgery works!! while neurosurgeons obviously have to know a lot, they aren't actually expected to know every single procedure. i have a friend with hydrocephalus and he's had to have brain surgery around fifteen times in his life. usually, the neurosurgeon has some sort of book around to help them out with the surgery. my friend actually got a copy when he was younger so he could read about the surgeries he was going to need before hand- point is, technically, it's not uncommon for neurosurgeons to have manuals to help out if they need it because y'know, your memory's unreliable and all :)

I can “totally” believe that a 14 year old girl pushed a grown man into a suit of armour killing him and that man used his last bit of strength to right in blood that girls name even though he rushed into that room to save her from a serial killer. And instead of writing Joe on the jar which would get the serial killer convicted like he and all his coworkers wanted he chose to write in blood emas name so that the 14 year old girl could be convicted instead of the serial killer who would walk free. Makes lots of sense.

I think you severely underestimate what the human body can do under the effects of adrenaline and the whole "fight or flight" effect. Yes, a 14 year old girl CAN push a man away if she takes him by surprise from a blind spot and they lose balance. I don't believe the armor would be stable enough to allow said person to get themselves impaled in quite the way it's depicted in the game, but the pushing away part and the potentially having them fall on a sharp pointy stick made for murder is feasible to some extent. That said, the entire vase part was entirely idiotic and anyone able to think clearly would see through it but the key point was the Lana was not in the fullness of her faculties at the time as her colleague was dead, her sister was passed out after being captured by a serial killer and it looks like aside from THAT trauma she would have to live on with the trauma of having, however accidentally, led to the death of a good person, not to mention the whole stigma that might come from other sources due to that. Just imagine wanting to work with the police force in the future if you were to be known as the kid who led to a good prosecutor dying. Plus the whole "serial murderer might have gotten off scot free" as well on top of all of that might have played a part. Gant was just there to make it all go away and in a moment of weakness and fear, she took him up on that offer. Gant was betting on Lana being out of her mind with worry when he got her to do his bidding and never allowed her the time to actually think about what was happening. Lana was, ultimately, so desperate to protect her sister that it blinded her. ... This is all believable stuff, if farfetched and contrived. But it's supposed to be drama so... yeah, that checks out.

I just realized the reason why the second number in goodman's ID is scratched out on the missing item report. The detective's ID numbers are long and hard to remember, so without his badge, goodman was having trouble writing down his ID.

There's also a chance that the bottom person attacked top person from the front, stabbed them in back. Fighting back, top person caused both to fall, and bottom person managed to turn around while falling, with both dying on the floor

Cereal/Serial - the judge is offering a very valuable and fundamental linguistic philosophy lesson here, RT XD You were suggesting that there's a casual relationship between the fingerprint and the murder based on just that the fingerprint is probably/possibly connected to a murder. Before showing why there's a connection, it doesn't say any more than insisting that serial and cereal are almost the same word - we just don't see it easily, because we're expecting, or have already decided the connection is there.
