oh i LOVE when people sort through a roguelike’s seeds to find specific things like this. Slay the Spire has a whole spreadsheet for seeds where you can relic swap for pandora’s box and have every card be replaced by a specific card, they’re incredible Thank you to all the roguelike seed scientists out there collecting this data, you’re a godsend

It honestly has the same vibe as Minecraft seed-hunters trying to determine the Zero Seed years ago (since you can't literally type a seed number of zero as it treats it as no-input and generates something random, you need a string that _hashes to_ a value of zero). "creashaks organzine" is the one I remember the most, and the world generation is _gloriously KZbind up_ no matter your other world parameters...

I'd love to see Dan take a crack at Balatro with the Cryptid Mod. Take a look at how Balatro is, now imagine the community being let loose upon it with the explicit purpose of creating the most overpowered stuff they can think of. Just to give you an idea of how absurd this mod is, it ships with a secondary mod that increases the game's scoring limit as a *required dependency*. If you think these kinds of runs are stupid, you ain't seen nothing yet.

If you _really_ want overpowered, there's an extension to Cryptid called Jen's Almanac, which requires many more mods, and speaking of the one that increases the score limit {Talisman}, it has to be set to Omeganum for Almanac to work. I won't spoil anything here aside from "big number get bigger"

It's a poker roguelike/lite (idk the difference) where you get multiple ways to manipulate the deck you have along with jokers that give different conditions for point scoring. Every aspect of it is just more gambling. Its great Tl;dr *slaps Balatro* this bad boy can fit so much gambling in it.

Reasons why RT should play cryptid: - you can use a code card to rig all luck based probabilities - waluigi is a legendary card - there’s a deck that randomizes the values of nearly everything - there is a chad card which triggers your left most joker twice - they have jokers with exponents

No, that doesn't work. I've tried it before, getting a rare tag and a negative tag together doesn't stack - it just gives you a random rare and a random negative separately (Also, x4 wouldn't have even made him able to score enough on the final blind - 4 x 6.2e15 is only about 2.5e16. It's really close, but doesn't quite meet the 7.7e16 scoring requirement)

I remember being shocked this existed cause the seed space doesn't seem large enough to get this just by chance. 51^52 (assuming it would be just as notable for any one card deck) is so cosmically large. Calculating it out again with a different perspective I see it would "only" take 2^294 seeds for it to be on par. I know Minecraft seeds turn strings into a 64 bit number, but I know nothing about Balatro seeds

@@FlatlandsSurvivor remembering an explanation i read a while ago, so probably not correct, but the seed is bugged in a specific way that erratic deck doesn't know what cards to give, so it gives the default card (10 of Spades) 52 times. Same as when you get all jokers, Jimbo is the only joker to then show up in shops as no other valid jokers are available to show

This run really shows just how much the Plasma Deck causes the scores to skyrocket. All of those multiplier multipliers and it didn't even break e20 due to the difficulty of raising chips to multiply. Glad to see that the charity goal was met in... what, less than 24 hours? I play this seed every now and again and this is really good info on how to put this together. I know for a fact you can get a red seal 9 of diamonds that you can easily turn into a 10 of spades from one of the card packs and I’ve managed to get to e16 from duping it and making glass and steel cards, I also know you can get blueprint but I’ve never managed to get it on the same run as brainstorm, I somehow never noticed the bull or the showman so now I want to try to get the glass red seal set up with the 3 idol and 2 brainstorm
