RTS Link construction project in Johor Bahru is start now
The RTS Link connects Bukit Chagar in Johor Bahru to Woodlands in Singapore, serving about 10,000 passengers per hour each way to help ease traffic congestion on the Causeway.
The RTS project is estimated to be RM3.7 billion after factoring in the relocation of the depot from Mandai in Singapore to Johor Bahru.
The RTS will not only ease congestion on the Causeway, the connectivity will also bring economic benefit to both cities.
The RTS Link will also continue to feature co-location of customs, immigration and quarantine (CIQ) facilities, so that passengers undergo CIQ clearance only once, at their point of departure.
The RTS Link stations will be well integrated with the local transport networks in each country.
When completed, the RTS Link will ease Causeway congestion, improve connectivity, foster people-to-people ties and generate shared economic and social benefits.

1. Tambak Johor itu sepatutnya harus di robohkan kerana ia sudah tidak relevan lagi buat Malaysia yang sudah Merdeka hampir 75 tahun dan digantikan dengan jambatan tinggi seperti Jambatan Pulau Pinang. 2. Pembinaan RTS pula dari Johor ke Singapura itu sepatutnya menggunakan kaedah laluan terowong (tunnel) dasar laut kerana jarak antara Johor Bahru ke Singapura bukannya jauh. Kedua-dua ini harus dilakukan bertujuan untuk membebaskan Selat Tebrau dari tersekat oleh laluan arus air laut mengalir. Malaysia sudah merdeka hampir 70 tahun tetapi kemajuan Johor dimasa hadapan (long term) harus berfikir jangka panjang. Rakyat mahukan Selat Tebrau bebas dari sekatan bagi membolehkan air laut mengalir. BEBAS SELAT TEBRAU DARI SEGALA TAMBAKAN

Betul tu, rasanya tambak johor tu mungkin tak relevan dengan sampah2 tersangkut kat celah2 tambak, kapal nak lalu ke Tg Pelepas pun terpaksa pusing panjang 1 Singapura. Untuk modernize lagi better Tunnel aja . Atau jambatan tinggi .. Asal air dapat aliran yg baik.

The JB part of the line and the Tebrau Strait crossing should have been underground . Since the line passing through prime land of JB city. Using viaduct as line spoilt the majestic view of JB and water front view of JB.

If the Panama and Suez canals are dammed and blocked, what will happen! Economic growth will be paralyzed and stunted for both countries. The Panama and Suez canal projects were carefully constructed for the foreseeable future in order to generate economic growth. But in Malaysia, the state of Johor, in particular, has gone backwards and seems to be out of date because the Strait itself, the Tebrau Strait, has been dammed and blocked. It is very sad for a country like Malaysia that has been independent for almost 75 years but it seems like progress is still ancient because it is not in line with the current situation. The centuries-old Johor embankment was not replaced with a high suspension bridge (does not block the flow of sea water) like the Penang Bridge or the Golden Gates Bridge in America. For the construction of the RTS Project from Johor to Singapore, it is still using the method of reclamation and blocking the flow of sea water in the Tebrau Strait. The construction of the RTS project needs to think about the future in accordance with Malaysia's progress. Free all forms of embankments or restrictions in the waters of the Tebrau Strait such as the Panama and Suez canals to allow the movement of commercial ships to operate as well as GENERATE MALAYSIA'S ECONOMY. The most appropriate method for the construction of the Johor to Woodland Singapore RTS project should be using the undersea tunnel method since the distance between the two countries is not long and far.

Not so clever ideas build RTS project on the surface of the sea at the Johor straight that still bloking the straight . The RTS project Johor to Woodland should build by using underwater tunnel subway together with the Tambak Johor that still bloking the straight must demolished and exchange it with high bridge like the Penang Bridge.

Tidak begitu bijak idea membina projek RTS di permukaan laut di Selat Tebrau yang masih menambak ,menyekat Selat. Projek RTS Johor ke Woodland seharusnya dibina dengan menggunakan kaedah laluan terowong bawah tanah dasar laut memandangkan Johor ke Woodland tidaklah jauh dan Tambak Johor yang masih menghalang laluan air Selat yang sepatutnya dirobohkan dan ditukar dengan jambatan tinggi (Suspension Bridge) seperti Jambatan Pulau Pinang.

Johor Bahru to Singapore is not very far, so let build the RTS route using an undersea tunnel instead of using on the surface of the sea a land route. In countries such as Europe, America, Japan and even China they build undersea subways tunnels that are kilometers long. It is hoped that Malaysia will progress a little further and then look a little more modern.
