In reality, you might be right. But, I believe you may have needed one size bigger brother. I am fully aware that I could be wrong, however, the reason I say this is I believe the sides should come together a little better. The bottom almost always sits up a bit, but the tucks seem short even still. Not sure how much this matters, all in all its gonna work most likely either way, and if your comfortable great, but I thought I might throw this out there if it helped you.

Level 3a is the highest grade soft armor available 99% sure, so it more then likely is. Level 5 is typically ceramic
