Auburn gave away so much in this game. Bama showed all the signs of what was to come in its last six games before Clemson and then all those mental mistakes and weakness at lb, cb, inexperienced staff and overall depth on defense finally all came together like the perfect storm. Add to that Clemson playing great ball...the results have been well documented now. Bama should be back in the hunt again this year but so will Uga and Clemson.

The lack of a real pass rush killed Bama in 2018 and 2019. It affected the whole defense and exposed our weak secondary in '18 and our inexperienced LB's in' 19. Hopefully someone emerges for this upcoming season.

Bama front seven defensively has to tighten up with their gap assignments or it's lights out against Georgia with Holyfield and Swift. The good news for Bama is Georgia doesn't run many misdirections like Auburn. However, one or two more defensive Bama players will have to step up and stop the run game because Quinton Williams will be double team like in the Auburn game. I'm saying this because I was surprised how Auburn was able to run on Bama defense. Bama also has to do a better job controlling the scrimmage line on offense and defense. They lost this battle on both sides of the ball in the first half and regained their dominance in the second half. Bama can't afford to do this against Georgia in the first half or they are going to lose the game. Bottom line is Bama defense has to play better and the offensive line has to block better to establish a run game.

Georgia has a HELL of alot more SPEED and Speed kills. If you watch both Georgia and Alabama games closely you will notice that Georgia is matched up perfectly with Alabama in every position EXCEPT the position that wins games: QUARTERBACK!!! With their speed I still think Georgia can overcome shitty QB play though... I think:-/

I just can't see how the media can say that Clemson can beat Bama except for Clemson's new QB. Clemson was supposed to have the nation's most impressive defense last year but Bama got 24 whereas Clemson managed only 2 field goals. Not really sure what I want at this point with the other playoff teams. If Notre Dame, OU, Clemson, and Bama win out, there will be no Big10 teams in the playoff which sounds glorious. But I’d be happy with Notre Dame losing tonight too, I feel like you’d get a more accurate top 4 if Notre Dame lost. Michigan was overrated, and I feel Notre Dame is overrated too. If I had to say who I currently think the best 4 teams are, it would be 1. Alabama 2. Clemson 3. Oklahoma 4. Ohio State But in all reality since Notre Dame is playing a horrible USC team for their rivalry game and won’t have a conference title, they’ll probably go undefeated; thus the rankings will probably end up 1. Alabama 2. Clemson 3. Notre Dame 4. Oklahoma Alabama isn’t gonna lose to Georgia this year no matter how much Georgia fans think it’ll happen. Clemson doesn’t have anyone challenging until the playoff so they aren’t losing. Notre Dame doesn’t have a conference title so they’re not losing a game. It wouldn’t surprise me if OU beats Texas pretty badly as that’s how most rematches go. Ohio St will probably get left out again since we’re gonna be stuck w Notre Dame lol sorry OSU fans

Some analysts are saying that even if Georgia beats Bama, both of them will make the playoff, and OSU and Oklahoma won't. If that happens, there's a chance that they could meet again for the national championship for the second straight year. The irony there is that one of the reasons the playoff was instituted was to prevent two SEC teams from meeting in the championship game like Bama and LSU did in 2011.
