@@truthcrusader360 first half of part 4 is more entertaining, it also serves the purpose of setting up the character's personalities and personal motivations, before the main villain is set loose on them, letting the audience get familiar with them as people. The first half of part 3 is almost entirely inconsequential, you could skip from the episode where they meet Polnareff right to the beginning of the Egypt arc and not miss anything about the plot or the characters's personalities, they barely go through any growth between those two points, unlike Part 4 where both Koichi and Okuyasu develop pretty substantially, along with learning how Josuke approaches things in general, it also introduces major characters like Rohan, Shigechi, and Aya, and gives them their own arcs that endear you them and again, familiarize you with them as characters first before the major challenge of Kira comes.
