Yes...tantra is way more deep and divine but inherently women themselves are ignorant of reading about it, instead blame everything on Patriarchy. Before a true Aghori, if you ever happen to make fun of divine feminine, he would slap you so hard that you won't be able to gather consciousness for half an hour atleast. Don't forget they are Siddhas. There are sects of Chandamaha Roshan Tantra that worship menstrual blood and even have it tasted.

Yes there is diversity drive in big companies but small companies struggle with funds. So should woman only work for big companies? 6 month maternity isn't big deal from woman's point of view and yes it is about organization culture and needs to be incorporated , but every month someone taking 1-2 leaves as period leave is that justified? There are generally 6 or 12 or unlimited sick leaves in best organization s so women can take from there. @@ananya3738 Ok! Wherever you are start dialogue with your HR if you are working or ask your nearby relative or friend to start dialogue with HR and ask for period leave , depression leave etc etc. You know what is problem is it is genric standards across each woman , some women don't want to work on periods due to pain but some are okay. What is required is not categorisation of leaves but if employee utilises sick leave whether that is for physical one off or repeated pain or mental pain both are equally accepted ..that is change in behaviour required. And regarding number of leaves have you worked in industry that is no white collar job like in factory?? There leaves even for reasons like taking very sick parent to doctor is rejected so now someone says bring period leave...do u think you are opening doors for women in industry or closing them ???

The coming generations will ask more of logic than believe superstitions; perhaps even more than we do now. I'm blown away by the way Madam Sinu Joseph explained about the entire chemistry and quantum physics at a sub atomic level that take place within this sthula and sukshma body wherein she unfolded myths while giving an insight into many mystical and mysterious aspects of life in all forms at earthly and transcendental planes. I'm awestruck and overwhelmed with ecstacy after listening to her and the opening and exposure my blind mind got to unfold the truth behind the discipline which our Hindu dharma and Vedas imposed while prescribing preaching and practice of the same. I'm spell bound and awe inspired by her exemplary work on ancient scriptures and its practices. Most wonderful and highly commendable feature about her presentation is the parallel she has drawn to relate and too correlate modern science with ancient scriptures and mythology too. Thankyou for that enlightening talk. The way you spoke with so much clarity with sucha deeper science attached to it was really mind blowing. I've never heard such a thing in my life I thought it's justa cultural thing. Bring other practices in india like this which looks superstition on the surface but as we dig deeper there is so much science and a profound understanding behind it. I think we should be proud of our culture becuz here the sciences were transmitted in a cultural format so that it fits into everyday life. That's wonderful truly. But we want to blindly follow the west and leave behind these profound experiential sciences. What looks so much from the outside has nothing significant to raise consciousness but what looks trivial and silly has so much basis from the inside. It's only for those who want to evolve their consciousness and not for someone who just wants to live somehow. From my experience I would say the western lifestyle was taking such a huge toll on my system. It's only if one become receptive enough these thhings will come into experience.

Excellently presented in a flow. A few interpretations that I wish to infer: 1. According to Yoga Kundalini Upanishad and Yoga Chudamani Upanishad, the idea of Chakras is that they are symbolic forms envisioned by ancient rishis and deliberately superimposed over the sthula sharira(i.e. outside of the physical body), which are 'prescribed' as focal points for meditation purpose in the process of invoking kundalini . 2. The Nadis or the energy channels are 'described' within the sthula sharira(inside of the physical body) that regulate energy flow within this sharira. 3.Based on the alignment of the main 3 nadis(Ida, Sushmna, Pingala) running across the vertical sthula sharira involving major organs is how the 7 main(rather 6 main chakras excluding the sahasrara) are superimposed over the sthula sharira. Though the timeline age of Tantras are still unclear, the understanding is that tantras were later applied to the chakra system just as it was for Kundalini earlier.

@8:51 timestamp madam is talking about differentiating cotton from "flannel"... And for that reason I'd like to ask if it was meant that 'flannel' is actually differentiated as being WOOL. Here is a definition I found: FLANNEL : "A soft, medium-weight cotton fabric that has a napped, or fuzzy, finish on one or both sides. ... Though it was once made of wool, by the 20th century, flannel was more commonly made with cotton, sometimes mixed with silk. Nowadays, the softest, coziest flannel is 100% cotton. " IT WAS ONCE MADE OF WOOL 👀🙏🏻🤔

A real study one must hear and under stand till end , really wonderful full fact explanations, modern science should follow from the beginning of each study instead of making arguments.....

Can't thank Ms Sinu Joseph and CIS for this wonderful session. Can't press like more than once. Many many women like me who have some conviction about the credibility of these practices but lack proper scientific knowledge have such doubts about this natural process and hence are not able to pass it on to the next generation. Passing on half baked information or some info which is not based on experience is as good as wrong knowledge and can be more dangerous. Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart on behalf of all the women

Absolutely wonderful video! Now I am able to relate everything we were asked to follow in the name of shastra... I wonder how brilliant our ancestors were... they knew all of these complex concepts of science... and devised these practices for us to follow. The only thing is that they were not able to transfer the knowledge of this science but called them as the rule or shastra to be followed. So, we were good and healthy until we followed those practices without questioning them. And now we know the reasons behind all health problems. OMG I was astonished when I came to know the reason behind not taking bath during menstruation. But it has a very valid reason too... many thanks to all the people and their efforts for this wonderful session. Special thanks to Sinu Joseph Mam. Wherever possible / demanding, I keep sharing this video...

I wished I had known this as a young person. Born and raised in south eastern USA, never been exposed to other cultures or practices. Even in college and Nursing school never heard of these practices, which makes so much sense. Thank you for sharing your self and vast knowledge... peace, love and light.......Namaste

Thank you for sharing this age old knowledge and practices with such scientific explanation Ms Sinu Joseph..Iam a great fan of yours and also liked the discourse on temple sanctity and chakras in the human body done a few months ago..truly eye opening! I will be better able to understand the difficulty faced by my wife during those trying days of the month and its so convincing that womenfolk need a menstrual break from work or home duties..well explained!

I am initiated into yogic practices (4 years) including HatHa,(2 years) and dhyana, (I am endeavouring to regularise them though) which the speaker had mentioned (and plan to further advance to what she touched upon viz; Samyama). As a person who has tasted this yoga and spirituality (not the religious mix) I can assuredly say while my set of saadhanaas are peaking up, i feel the surge quite as she mentions. Even my fellow women meditators acknowledge the same happening for them. I have gone though many you tube videos of Ms SInu Joseph. Many times I have forwarded Ms SJ's you tube links to my academic groups and generated some interest (with some difficulty) in the much avoided taboo subject of Menstruation. With the intention of shifting focus from 'disease' to 'health' - this year 2020 to the candidate to whom I am allotted as guide-faculty, I've given the topic for a basic survey of practices of menstruation in our district, moving much away from studying effects of surgeries or medicine for one disease or other. Our Scientific Committee has given the go-ahead and after 'Ethical' Committee clearance. Hopefully, I can take the trajectory up (after completion of this elementary work) for the next level study using interventional based on what the speaker has outlined about various practices and customs and lay down the 'Western scientific' queries to rest by their own method 'studies and statistics'. It will be beneficial for improving and widening the scope for re-introduction of our ancient proven methods back through the 'Western' Gate. I have some queries: 1) One indian study (i'll try to find the link and post) mentioned that broom stick and footwear (intending to ward off evil spirits) are kept around the menstruating woman who is secluded Can the speaker clear the air on this practice 2) the saadhanaas which I do, our guru says can be done by women even during periods and some trimesters of pregnancy - - From the huge gamut, is there a particular yoga practice which need to avoided from the speaker's perspective
