Hi, i found a "secret" setting in the graphic settings that in my tests make a great difference in performance: When you change preset you change also the terrain and mountain quality, wich means that you're gonna see some differences beetwen low, mid and high looking towards mountains or terrain. This setting IS NOT a single setting you can change alone, in facts it changes with graphics presets, wich means that the same optimized settings could perform worse depending on what preset you are working on. For example; If you start from the low preset and then change manually every single settigs, the game will perform better that the same settings but with a Ultra preset base. I suggest you to start from a medium preset because you loose some details in mountains but you still have realistic and random terrain textures. If you work on High or Ultra settings you're gonna have max mountain details but worse performance. With low preset you gain a lot of fps but you can immediatly see the loss in mountains and terrrain details. I tested this with a rx 6600 and r5 5600.

If u guys want to use dlss at 1080p while looking good and not blurred go to nvidia settings and enable dldsr 1440p and then in the game set the resolution to 1440p and enable dlss performance it will look better and perform better i hope this helps someone

starfield is pretty much as optimized as it can get whats killing the frame rate is the real-time global illumination, this is more or less a lack of CUDA cores issue then poorly optimized

Damn, that's a great deal. The cheapest I can find here is 430€, which is still great for that card. But for 120€ more I can get the 7800XT + Avatar... I'm torn between the 7800XT or 7600 at the moment. Wondering if it's worth investing in the 7800XT, it's a lot of money and AMD cards usually don't get a ton of views 😬 On the other hand the 7600 is 300€ here, it comes with avatar as well, but it's not good value... I bought the 6700XT a couple of months ago for 340€ and it completely destroys the 7600 lol

In terms of Rx 7800 XT vs 7600, I think that the 7800 XT is a lot more relevant right now since it can be found for around $30 less than MSRP on Amazon rn so a lot of people are gonna wanna buy it. There's also been a lot of talk on the tech community around it recently, so I think your video would perform alright. The problem is, a bunch of larger KZbinrs such as LTT have already done reviews on it. I think your Rx 6700 XT video performed so well 2 months ago because there had been no coverage on it from KZbinrs for a while. Your video came at the perfect time because it was being labeled as the best value GPU, though all the reviews at the time were from 2021.

Also, your videos provide in-depth reviews of the cards, whilst also showing gameplay so that users can see performance for themselves, and being just a really entertaining guy too. Pair this with the fact that there aren't many quality videos showing Rx 6800 gameplay right now(There also hasn't been much KZbinr coverage since 2021), and the fact that many people are gonna be buying it around this time, I think an Rx 6800 video could potentially do great. Just advice Kryzzp but keep up the good work.

You're absolutely right! Looking at it that way, the 6800 looks like the best investment. I'll see if it drops a bit more by Friday and then grab it. I'll also keep an eye on the used market I remember the 6800 being quite a bit faster than the 3070 at release, it was actually the card I was aiming to get at the time! When you fight is outside of big cities, so fps are higher, My 3060ti runs on 4k DLSS Quality 71% sharpening optimized settings in New Atlantis in The Mast zone between 35 and 45 fps, on the space port is Between 41-54 fps.

I have a RTX 3060 but I am not buying this game....I just came to watch a benchmark video because I find it relaxing en informative in general. Bethesda needs to rethink themselves and throw away that old engine and make a new one instead of upgrading it and calling it new. Not to be negative. I use to love Fallout and Elderscrolls but fallout 4 was the last time the engine created something good. 76 made that clear and made it clear that the company had lost it's soul. A sad day.

Thirdy party apps that increase performance of GPUs dont exist lol, what you can do is overclock your GPU with MSI afterburner or some software like that, but its not worth it on modern GPUs.

Bethesda can't get anything right. The DLSS implementation in the official update is horrendous and artifacts when in motion are constant. These issues and artifacts did not exist using DLSS mods, thankfully the DLSS mods still work with the update.

On 4060ti I went from 40fps on high, up to 120 fps with dlss and frame gen. Input latency is pretty good considering FG. I think updated video on it would be good I'm using i7 9700 with 16gb of ram 3200mhz

thats awesome, it just sucks that Frame Generation is the crutch to achieve your desired FPS. Im playing on a 5800x and a 3070ti with 32 gb of ram and still cant achieve 60+ FPS 100% of the time and it bugs the hell out of me.

Cyberpunk or Red Dead for example I get on average 80-90 fps pretty much consistently all the way through with DLSS enabled on all High settings.

8Gb of VRAM is pathetic and frame generation works horribly when you can't have a stable 60 fps without it, it was supposed to remove CPU bottleneck and allow gamers to achieve higher framerates, not using it to barely achieve 60 due to bad optimization.
