Oh man this is a relief to see. When I saw a 4080 was recommended for ultra settings(without the full ray tracing at that) i was a little freaked out I might have to turn a lot of stuff down just to have stable framerate on a 3080. Really glad to see that’s not the case. Hopefully it can handle a 1440 ultrawide.

rtx has not been implemented yet aparnetly thats why..wait till it gets patched with raytracing support..it will be a slide show on anything but a 4080

Does the Texture pool size affect the actual visuals of the textures? Because in many games, its basically just a buffer size and the game looks the same. Thanks for a bench, I have 3080 so...

Game is super well optimized. Almost max settings for me on my 3080 ti (with balanced dlss) at 4k and I’m getting 120fps in that little area after the Latin guy fight

Did you try the new Full RT update on 3080 yet? cause I updated the game on a 3080 and there are no RT options in the settings so I don't know what's going on.

Plays well. I was really surprised. 5800x3d, 32gb 3600mhz and a 4070. 4K dlss balanced with “very ultra” settings, capped at 60fps, stays at 60fps all the time. Looks great plays great. Don’t be fooled, this video says ultra but there’s very ultra and supreme which are two higher settings

I have TUF RTX3080 and really happy that this game doesn’t use Stutter Engine 5 aka UE5. With Id Tech 7 we got great game which runs very smooth ❤

yeah all those vram graphs are showing ray tracing / path tracing i tested it on an 8gb 2070 and it plays fine, i ran it at the med preset (still looks great) the vids on the channel if you wanna have a look

Don't cheat people, 3080 won't run this game smoothly in ULTRA 4K because it has too little memory and the textures need to be set to medium, which of course you didn't inform me about
