Just a result of the 4090 having more VRAM to work with. The same happens in windows where people with more RAM will see games use much more of the available space but without necessarily affecting performance or quality.

doesn't matter anyway you look at it. 5000 series is huge leap forward, and the 6000 series will be even larger. people wdho have a 4000 series are just mad they cant upgrade and have to wait for the next gen. frame gen and dlss are the future. looking pretty good imo

what? efficiency is flat between 4000 and 5000, the $1000 4080 super is like.. 5-10% slower than the brand new $1000 5080. And to say it again, there was zero leap in efficiency, the thing that matters most for driving performance

2160p is 4k....most people dont even have a monitor for 4k. 2k is a more accurate test for the general machine

@@FrederikSeerupNielsen He could work at an electronics store, and got a 5080 since a few days. The VRAM usage is relatively correct, clock speeds and power consumption also. But he could use the clockstretching trick for the 9800x3d and curve-undervolt at a 4090 on the left side.

@@ViperTr99 I'm assuming he's just doing what you said at the end of your comment. There is no way that the 5080 will match the 4090 at 4k, it simply doesn't have as much raw power.
