Sir, As an Indian muslim historian the fate of mughal sultanate is well known to all historians. Mr Jinnah had opened a door for all Indian Muslims. The tragedy is that Indian muslims overwhelmingly did not avail that opportunity and ended up in perennial confusion and pain.

Recently came across an interview on Lallantop, where KK Mohd the archeologist (related to Ram Janmbhoomi) gave a scathing criticism of Irfan Habib. I am finding it hard to respect his opinions after watching that interview.

आदरणीय हबीब साहब:- आपने मानव गणेश के सिर पर हाथी का सिर लगाने पर कटाक्ष किया और हिन्दू ओ के कुछ धार्मिक विश्वास पर कटाक्षकिया लेकिन मुस्लिम्स के स्वर्ग और वहाँ मिलने वाली सुरा सुन्दरी पर चर्चा तक नही किया.पृथ्वी चपटी है इस पर भी कुछनही कुछ नही कहा. मैनै ईसाई धर्म मे भी बहुत से अन्ध विश्वास देखा हैऔर पढा है मेरा आशय यह है कि जहाँ धर्म हैवही पाखन्ड भी है और काल्पानिक कहानियाँ भी है. कोई भी धर्म इससे अछूता नही है.

Hindu sabda perian(farsi ) sabda hai arbi nahi .The Persians designated the land around the Indus River as Hindu, a mispronunciation of the Sanskrit sindhu(river) . Then this word commonly used by many Islamic rulers/invaders during their rule ,with The course of time this word is accepted by common mass .
